Originally they were gonna be mirrored 'protect' and 'serve' which I absolutely loved. I'm kind of disappointed that they changed it
Barricade looks amazing, and Frank's Megatron voice actually sounds a lot like Hugo Weaving's, which is good for continuity's sake
Loving how they gave Barricade's signature quad optics a unique touch by having them mirror his blue and red siren lights. Brilliant! It looks like the rumors of his initial head design being a battle mask may turn out to be true. And is it just me or does his head design look kinda Ironhide-ish with his squared off crown and noggin? The rap/hip-hop chain and knuckle dusters combined with his po-leese digs is definitely an interesting mix! That Ford didn't want to play ball this time and give HasTak the license for the Mustang didn't help his toys, for starters, sadly.
Actually, in the concept art it's "protect and serve". On his elbows are the plates for "punish and enslave"
I've been so impatient waiting for Barricade's robot mode in film... What a Glorious Sexy Bastard! Need more screenshots! XD
So Megatron is a triple-changer now? Isn't he supposed to have a tank mode as well? That's an awesome transformation scene though!
I'm surprised Barricade has a face. Doesn't he just have a mask/visor in the concept art and figures?
Can we talk about a second about how this Cybertronian thing is taking the Ark, the Harvester and who knows what else?
Does feel like the lines were mumbled for Megatron, difficult to really hear him though that could be because of how the trailer was edited. Some of the TF's look better this time around and the transformations are cooler, though i am concerned we wont see many outside of this given how prior clips released have intentionally cut to show humans when a TF is transforming. I get the feeling that this is the live action movies way of doing Unicron; - Quintessons introduced via Quintessa - Unicron is Earth to avoid a massive transforming planet - Planet-sized harvester is controlled by Quintessa to provide a planet-sized threat - Unicron's robot mode is represented by the Infernocons and Infernocus In regards to toys, still waiting on the mysterious 'Tidalwave' (Submarine Transformer) to make his appearance - wondering if he's even in the movie long given the lack of focus in any media. If we get Unicron in the movie would like to see him represented in toy form. If not, then we really need a Leader Class Infernocus figure - whether it can form the individual figures or not.
