I actually had a really interesting experience with this film. I went in ready to actively hate it, I mean it's Michael bay how could it be good right? When I left I was actually angry at myself for enjoying it...then the people I was with said they liked it too and I was like whaaaaaaaaat???  

 

Well I'll be seeing for myself Wednesday.

Been working really hard for the last 6 months and now the project is on hold so I'm taking a few days off between mini projects. Got Wednesday Thursday and Friday off before I have to fly out again. Movie on Wednesday, latest POL arriving in the afternoon. Going to be a good day!

 

Yeah I'm putting 30% as my top estimate. I'll be pleasantly surprised to see a higher score than that, because it would still be nice to see, debate on the merit of RT aside.

God I hate Google Translate. It chooses to translate words instead of sentences, causing extremely illiterate sentencing, but i digress.

From what I can read, "Change 5 is perfect, I want to play 100 points! The whole film without urine." I'm no expert but it seems like a positive reaction.

 

I am no longer reading any reviews anymore. Even if I was morbidly curious, I will not give their websites clicks or any ad revenue.

The real thing that does matter to Paramount and Transformers is the paying audience that loves these films that will decide TLK's success. Not "critics".

Enough said.

 

I think rotten tomatoes will get a score higher than 30%..which is in the range of 50-70 percent.

 

I bet if critics loved the film, you'd be praising them.

Even most transformers fans will admit that the only good TF films are 1 and 3.

Thank you. People on this board thinks that every TF film is pure gold and the critics are secretly against Bay even though Bay ADMITTED that even HE hated transformers 2. Transformers 4 was just as bad as tf2 sooooo yeah.

Never liked transformers age of extinction when i first watched it in the theater I kinda fell asleep in the middle.

 

You call critics out saying their opinions don't matter because you think they will give it BAD scores.

But if they give the film GOOD scores, you will start praising them.

That's being a hypocrite

 

With Bay films? Yes, some Critics believe that and are biased towards him, also shouldn't shumashoom be reported for his/her derogatory comment

So transformers 2 got a bad score not because it was literal trash, but because the critics are liberals even though BAY himself said he did not like the film.

All i'm saying is that we shouldn't just auto hate the critics. Yes OUR opinion ultimatlely matters but bashing others opinions are wrong.

I LOVE most of the TF films. But i'm not going to act like they are all perfect and the critics are just "biased".
