I doubt Hasbro will ever release any carbots here. They did a test run with Bluestreak and that guy shelfwarmed like nobody's business. Everyone who wanted one, got the Takara version. Why would you want to just wait for an inferior version of the Takara masterpiece anyway? Just get that one.
I got the Hasbro Bluestreak because I wanted to support Hasbro bothering to bring the Masterpieces over in the first place. How are the Hasbro ones "inferior"? Most of the time they're exactly the same.
My Starscream sure isn't. My Takara Thundercracker and Skywarp are tight and crisp and virtually perfect but my Hasbro Starscream is not terrible, but definitely subpar to the Takara versions. I also have the Hasbro Bluestreak that I had to fix out of the box because the piece that the head is mounted on was assembled incorrectly. Furthermore, the box art showing the figures just makes you cringe because they're so mistransformed.
So they are for sure coming to US TRU stores? I haven't been able to find so much as a pre-order anywhere

I think you meant OCD. Hasbro has followed a numerical system up until now with MPs. Why would it be unrealistic to expect them to maintain it? That's not to say that skipping is impossible, but given the pattern it's more likely that Hasbro won't skip 09.
You've never seen the defense force fly into a rage (*argh* toys *snarl* for *growl* kids *argh*) when somebody points out what should fall under "attention to detail?" It's not really autism or OCD. Those are just labels used by the defense force to turn every screwup into somebody else's fault.
To be honest guys Hasbro and by extension TakTom have pretty much lost my business, hell the only Hasbro Figure I am getting for months now has been Titans Return Trypticon, and maybe a couple of the TR Deluxes but that's it. Sadly I have to admit I have been buying more & more 3rd Party Figures, strictly for several reasons such as Variety,Way Better QC improvements,DIECAST being used, and the main thing is their prices, when you consider MP36 Megatron cost $230 but the same 3rd Party offerings have him at roughly $150 apiece, which do you think I'm gonna pick?. The only reason I am getting TR Trypticon is to go with my Generations Metroplex, pretty much everything else is passable.I think both Hasbro & TakTom realize 3rd Parties are gaining ground with their offerings,I know I'm now a 3P Supporter since Hasbro has cheapened out on their figures.
You would think that they'd release the MP Autobot Cars........of course, I already own some of them (I lack Red Alert, Smokescreen, Tracks, Inferno, Grapple)
So if masterpieces sell so badly here because of the price, why do they do better in Japan? I just got mp10 a week ago and it's an amazing figure but at the same time I'm bummed that we'll never see sideswipe, sunstreaker, or some of the other cars in the states. Do they really do that bad here?
