He probably said "What a pain in the ARSE".

He's Welsh, after all, not a Northerner, or American.

The ark signal was discovered in the 60s. Before then they didn't have the tech to detect it.
The ark itself never arrived on earth, it arrived on the moon. It's still on the moon too as seen in the trailer for Last Knight.
Not sure on the other dates without the movies in front of me. But I would assume the Ark crashed on the moon before Megatron even got near earth, since the Ark left before he did. Otherwise Sentinel may have still been active inside it instead of needing the Matrix to reactivate him. Especially when the lunar landing happened to explore it.

I don't think there's any indication in any movie as to who left Cybertron first, Megatron or Sentinel Prime. In anycase, none of Megatron's scheme's across the first three movies made any lick of sense considering previous movies so I guess it didn't matter anyway.

    My mistake.
But it is clear that the Ark arrived after Megatron, it crashlanded in 1961 and the humans detected its signal when it arrived on the Moon.
Megatron was discovered in 1897, but surely arrived on Earth thousands of years before, following the AllSpark.

Still would need to rewatch to check. Because in a crashed ship still seems odd that Sentinel wouldn't have gone re-entry form to reach earth. He was in what seemed like a prolonged stasis that'd predate Megatron's earth arrival. Especially since he had the warp gates to use too. But a black box repeater signal takes low enough power that it could go for eons under their tech. Though maybe it's possible it was traveling that long, and the prolonged stasis is from that. Still seems weird though for a ship that left before Megatron and was intending to come to earth.

Plus if Bee's scout team was on earth pre-60s as suggested by TLK. Then they'd be aware of the crash. The moon is a much easier thing to track than say earth itself. So it had to be there before that scouting team arrived on earth or before earth was under observation by them directly. Still begs the question why didn't they detect the signal while coming to earth themselves.

Still remain the fact that DotM clarifies from the prologue that the Ark arrived in that year.
And I doubt that the Autobots would be able to detect the signal without some tech.
Even Soundwave can't spy without corrupting the satellites.

No I don't think all Transformers have goofy, cartoonist faces.
Cartoonist as in exaggerated proportions, I'm talking about Elmer Fudd cartoonish.
    But we're talking about 3d
    No.
Optimus Prime's face, any TF series never struck me as 'goofy'. Jazz never strikes me as 'goofy'. Unicron doesn't look goofy.
Maybe Skybyte's chibi day dreams were goofy, but I think that's it.
No. Notrod's face looks goofy. Not only does this movie Hotrod has the color pallet of a Stunticon, he has a goofy looking face to go with it.
