Because Hasbro would never release all new toys of characters or repaints of older toys.
 

I'd also doubt we'd get the whole initial G1 cast anyways. Probably like every other series since G1, each faction would get 7 or less bots at the beginning and introduce more later.

Do it this way: Series starts like G1 with them crashing to Earth in the Ark. They wake up & the Cons get away. Only Prime and 6 other Autobots are in the immediate area of the Ark near Teletran's repair beam. After a few episodes, more areas of the Ark are explored where more Autobots are found.

Decepticons find the remains of the Nemesis and begin finding the bodies of the cons that were in it when it crashed. So Contructicons & Coneheads can come from there. And the spacebridge to Cybertron can always bring in more on both sides.

 

I don't have the time to wait that long.

 

I know this is completely off-topic and I don't know which is the appropriate forum to ask this but: Will we ever get another Beast Wars show?

 

As a fan and collector of both franchises Transformers and Micronauts/Microman this great news. It would be cool if hey connect the two shows together since both lines have such a shared history. IDW has been doing a pretty good job doing just that and it would be really neat to see Micronus Prime one of the original 13 Primes and creator of the Microverse appear in one of the 2 new shows as well as a toy.

One last thought even though I am a fan of many of the incarnations of the Micronauts comics I would like to see in the new show better adaptations of the humanoid characters. Such as Galactic Defender, Galactic Warrior, Space Glider and the Pharoids. Maybe even bring some of the other humanoid characters from Microman like the Hoodmen, Microman Spies and Magicians, and the other the 3 types of Command series which the the Pharoids originated from.

 

I hope the Micronauts show we setup the Hasbro cartoon-vise.

 

Rescue Bots lives! Yay!

There are so many options for continuing that series that almost any take I'll appreciate as long as the writing stayed up to par with the original series.

 

More Rescue Bots is awesome.

I hope with the new series replacing RiD they keep a similar tone and not go dark like they did with Prime.

 

Here's hoping for something smart, well done and with consequences like TF Prime.

Rescue Bots and RID are fun kids shows, but there's tons of Transformers fans that are older than 12. I'd love if they continued the continuity and gave us something more mature for the older fans. Hell, follow Marvel's lead and show it through Netflix.

I can't see a G1 redux that isn't targeted towards older fans, unless they're putting modern animation to G1's audio.

In reality, I'll bet the unnamed one is a replacement for RID. It's in that 3rd/4th season kiss of death territory that seems to mark the end of TF series.

 

They aren't going to put G1 audio over new animation, stop saying that, it's fucking stupid, that isn't how cartoons work!

 

Rescue Bots still going strong I see. I'm curious on what the other show turns out to be.

 

Probably not, but there's always the possibility of getting Beast Wars characters in a new show.

 

Oh, I am totally up for some more Rescue Bot cuteness.

Well, if there is, he won't have the same voice.... Nor will the others from the sound of it.

 

Hopefully the new show will be smart, funny, entertaining, brave and creative. Everything Prime and Animated never were.

 

An I the only one tired of the super kid friendly transformers cartoons? I wish we could get a transformers show with more robot violence, like TFP had. That was good stuff.

 

Uh not to be rude but....nobody was talking about Prime or Animated..?

 

Because cartoons mainly attract kids so they kinda have to be kid friendly..
