It seems like they just get sucked into the torso. The transformation seems almost toy-like in that the wings form what would be unecessary kibble only to vanish BM-Vehicon style into the body. I'm sure someone's noticed, but I like how his sword is clearly split in half and pulls together during the transformation.
This 100%. Sad that this might be the case, we shall see when the movie releases. If it is the case, Writers Room will be pretty much pointless, when it makes EVEN MORE OF A MESS of the continuity. It will be no better than Kruger and his BS. I think I will be done with the movie franchise if they just throw every single thing about the movie TF out of the window.
I find strange these possible contradictions. It seems like a big paradox: we have clear, big connections with the previous movies (the Witwicky motto, for example) and a question to answer "Why they keep coming here, to Earth?" and the place where this answer can be found, seems to give us only confusion and problems. And we are talking about giant mistakes. It doesn't make any sense. From what we know from the interviews, Sir Edmund Burton has a lot of Transformers history in his castle, so why there is only stuff that shows that robots web know? And why there is stuff that contradicts his own words? (Web have propaganda posters and newspapers)
You know what else get's the job done? Having a poof of dust (sorta like nightcrawler) or a ring going down their body (sorta like mystique) and then they're magically in their robot mode. It get's the job done after all, right????
See my post above. But to add onto that, all they're doing is having him flip in the air and have parts go into his body or magically disappear. Nothing actually Transforms, the vehicle just morphs into his body. If that's the case, why not do it with all the Transformers? Plus, who says complex Transformations have to be long? Is this long? or these two? or this? or this?
Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch. "I want super accurate intricately detailed transformations with no cheating but I also want photo realistic robot characters fully interacting with each other and their environments that have more focus on the humans, and I don't care how much money it costs or how much time it takes to animate and render!"
Lenght is not the lazy part, it's execution. It doesn't make sense, he's not going from a jet to robot in a correct manner. Everything just folds together and boom robot. It's bullshit.
If they're going to do that (just have his jet form magically morph into a robot), why not just have them switch from car to robot in a single frame???? Now that's what you call quick.
I guess you guys weren't fans of Transformers Animated, huh? They did a lot of quick transformations--hell, sometimes they were quicker than how Megs transforms here!
Yes, those are indeed fast transformations--most of which are from a movie that the animators had plenty of time to work on.
Well let's remember that Bay always wants to try new things with each movie. As far as the transformers go anyway
I think Megatron's transformation looks a little weird because there are no parts in his robot form of any jet parts, especially the wings. But for what it is I think it looks great! At least it isn't that transformium crap lol
yeeeaaah, I don't know what the heck I'm talking about either ok, fine, it does look a little off...i'm just not bothered by it lol case closed!
What are you talking about? ILM had 6 months to create the effects in the original movie, JUST LIKE this one. And there are plenty of transformations from the other 3 films that I didn't include. That's not an excuse for lazy and lackluster transformations.
