    $80. Holy crap.

So that's $10 over what 2 Deluxes would normally cost at TRU with their inflated prices, $20 more then what Deluxes would cost at most other stores and $30 more then what two Deluxes would cost at RRP.

Similarly the Legions are at least $10 more then what 2 Legions normally sel for.

Even considering they are priced on AU Dollars, they look expensive.

The layout of the art work on the Bee/ Megatron set makes it look like they have teamed up. Bee is the one that plays by the rules but still has the street smarts and can talk jive with the best of them and Megatron is the one with a score to settle, he says to hell with the rules, too bad he does not know anything about how life really is on the streets.

They use that legion Rippersnapper mold so much, yet they almost never transform it right. I like how they just gave up when it came to the pictures on the legion two-packs: Prime, BB, and Megatron all have a picture of the toy in alt mode, whereas Grimlock is just pictured in robot mode.

IF they were going to use a past mold for Grimlock why can't they use the Leigon RID15 Grimlock mold? If anything that fits more for Grimlock then Rippersnapper.

As for the prices yikes...And people thought the prices for the TLK toys in America were bad.

It's because everything has to flown or shipped by boat neither of which are cheap.

There's also how much is being shipped. North America is a much larger market and shipping in larg enough quantities can be cheaper.

4 of these were on the shelf at my Toys r us in Chicago burbs - $39.99 each. I did not think much of it but grabbed one and they denied me at checkout. They said it's not suppose to be sold until August 1st. They're going to let it collect dust in the back for 2 months? Crazy, no wonder Amazon is kicking US retail's ass.

Hasbro explicitly stated there is no street date for the exclusives, everything is free to go on the shelf as soon as it arrives at the store. If TRU has a street date, it's self-imposed.
