I found a small info packet left on a shelf at the Walmart in South Riding, VA. It talks about promo tours happening around the country and also gives the official setup dates for the displays that have already been cropping up in some locations. Pics here:

Well I'm not surprised that Optimus will visit here. They'll probably have him stop at Hasbro for a day.

Suck about Hotrod though, that car is amazing. I'd love to see it in person.

 

I don't think the actual movie cars are appearing, just actors in costumes of said characters

 

I'll be surprised if any of the Walmart's near me will do this. They tend to be way behind on everything.

 

I'm kinda surprised the tour is starting in 6 days or so, yet there's no dates or locations announced yet! Did I miss something?

 

Wonder when we will find out location and dates. This would be awesome to take my godsons too

 

All I want is for Walmarts to ACTUALLY STOCK up on new TF toys! I'm tired of seeing empty pegs and bare shelves where TF's are supposed to be. But WM made sure to flood their stores with Cars 3 junk!   

 

Did any Walmart give out posters or coupons? Mine did not, which is not a huge surprise but am wondering

 

Mine just had the guy walking around in the costume for a bit and then he ended up leaving before he was supposed to. They didn't exactly advertise it before hand or during. If I hadn't known about it prior, I would have never known.

 

Those pallet drops already happened last month. Funny that the TR deluxes were supposed to be marked $10...the ones around here pretty much ignored that. But it's also the reason Chromedome, Blurr and Scourge are all STILL seemingly warming pegs at Walmarts...
