I think you should visit the War Lord thread. There's been recent posting activity (*blush*) so it shouldn't be too far back. Do a search if you can't find it.

Basically, it was UT's first combiner and a learning experience for them. Their Divebomb was a bit ass, but the figures showed improvement as the team was released. Still, it's generally accepted that combined mode is the draw - and there were common problems with fit/tolerances (hips too weak, leg swivels too loose, combiner ports too tight, backpack hard to remove etc) and cheapish plastics.

Most of the issues have some sort of fix, but you need to anticipate the problems because it's too late to fix something once you've busted it. I trawled through the thread and recommend you do the same before you make a decision.

 

Allen is actually a really good figure and looks better in person. With a repaint of the face, hands and thighs he looks much better.

 

Anybody own that Transparent Invisible? I thought this thing was completely blue?

I'm thinking about ordering.

Preordered Warlord. As much as people say the OS KO is cheap feeling, I can't imagine this would be worse. On top of that, I can fit him in my shelves.

 

Well I was saving for Mightron, but at 60 dollars for Allen, I guess I know what I'm getting...

Allen was listed as in stock when I put him in my cart, and was listed as preorder by the time I was done checking out. Here's hoping there won't be a huge delay on me getting him now. The longer I have to wait, the more I'll probably regret not waiting for one of the more accurate springers to come out.  

 

I love Springer. He's my favorite S3 bot. I hate the legs on this guy.

 

The legs never bothered me, but those yellow feet are what's kept me from getting him up till now. $60 for yellow feet is a fair trade off for me now.

 

Best MP Sandstorm we will ever get. Just not a popular character in show or comics overall.

As much as it hurts my balls to see many of the figures I've bought over the years have their prices slashed by like 50% or more - I'm happy to see that alot of these figures will see new life in new collections.

I'm guessing you've never been kicked in the nuts. A good kick to the balls feels worse than looking at any picture other than maybe a picture of Mama June and Susan Boyle naked doing things to each other.

 

I used to own one and sold it quick. Its completely dark blue with almost no surface detail and every joint is clear plastic with the scariest tolerances I've ever dealt with on a toy. Even at $25 I still would hesitate to recommend it.

 

Isn't Doubledeck the little KFC figure? A remold of their Perceptor? I'd cancel that based on how shit that Perceptor was.
