Holy shit I forgot about this guy. Any reviews or anything? I feel like no one else knows about this guy. He looks pretty awesome.

EDIT: NM I just scrolled up and saw that there's a review of this guy already from Peaugh. And some of the pics posted above are amazing! He looks so cool! I think they changed the face sculpt, because it looks so much more appealing to me now. And the face-changing gimmick is great! Doesn't look like his eyes light up though. Oh well that's not a deal breaker for me.

I've been waited for this guy since Hero Hobby said the released date was Oct. 2016. A couple of days back, I had to email Chosen Prime if they knew the release date for Tiny Magnus. It's about time Tiny Magnus is in Stock. Now I should be getting an email from Chosen Prime soon informing Tiny Magnus and MP Grapple are on their way, hehe.
I think that's just the magic of the camera. To me, that face sculpt looks the same as the prototype days.

Glad this is coming out soon, I've been very eager for chibi magnus.
I do wish he had a frowny face to put on when the matrix wont open though.

I love living so close to TFSource's distribution warehouse. Bought and shipped it yesterday with a few other figures and it arrived today. Can't wait to take it home in a few hours ^_^

Let us know if they did any improvement since the last time some folks got a chance to review Tiny Magnus a couple months back. I remembered asking Hero Hobby what took it so long and they responded back, improving the figure but didn't specify which area.

I can probably get these if some of you guys are interested. Some suppliers offered them to me but I didn't think many were interested.

I collect the SD stuff myself. Have all the kids logic and mm stuff for the most part!

Pretty fun little figure so far. He's got a nice weight to him and articulation joints feel pretty good. Overall it's amazing that they made a fully transforming SD style figure.

    Some things to note:

You can NOT transform his head into the cab with the angry face out. When angry face is out, normal face folds down and prevents the sides of his head from collapsing in a little, which lets the head fit in the cab. With angry face flipped up into the top of the head and normal face out, the sides of his head have clearance to press in a little. I spent way too long trying to figure out why his head wouldn't fit in the damn cab when I had his angry face out. Granted I also didn't bother to read any of the instructions... so maybe that is pointed out in them, I dunno :)

On the weapon, to change the blaster's barrel into the hammer's handle, it does require a bit of force to get it to extend all the way down. Feels like you're going to break it, so just be firm and steady, apply force evenly (not pulling on one side of the hinge more than the other).

Edit: Part of me thinks the weapon is miss-assembled, as it looks differently in the directions (okay, so I did peek at them a little) than in the box art.

A lot of pieces hold together in vehicle mode with tiny little tabs. Due to the size of the figure, I'm sure they couldn't be made any bigger, but I do feel like it could be easy to sheer them off, so when transforming, just be deliberate and pay attention to how things are tabbing together. Make sure you're not pushing things together at any sort of a weird angle that could lead to breakage.

Otherwise he looks great and is a welcome addition to my Ultra Magnus shelf.

Also for fun, here are a few crappy pics with him and Transformers Q Rodimus:

They go well together in vehicle modes. Robot modes are a little out of scale... not that scale is important with SD figures :)

And here with some of my other SD Ultra Magnuses...

Front Row (Left to Right): 2014 Thrilling 30 Mini-Figurine Series 2 Ultra Magnus; Master Made Magnuz; Transformers Q Ultra Magnus

At some point I need to take a group shot with all 38 of my Ultra Magnuses....

Man. Judging by how few posts there are in here, I assume this isn't a popular figure. I've got a copy on the way to me, and I do like the SD stuff, even if I know it's not for everyone.

Just wish SD got more love so they'd well more and then in turn make more for me to collect!

I've actually got a pretty decent size SD transformers and mecha collection and have been planning to get Magnus here but haven't yet. Still plan to eventually though!

Yeah, I wish more people are into the SD figures too. Although the only SD figure I collect is UM, but overall, I love the SD design. If I have the space I would've collect them all. I don't know if I'm lucky to see any 3P try to tackle on my avatar QTF UM. Although I got the TTomy QFT UM already, he's just too small, barely see any detail. A bigger version like 3-5 inch would be a dream for me.

In regard to Hero Hobby Tiny Magnus, I absolutely love the figure. Love the clever transformation, the SD looks, and the Matrix gimmick chest opening. The fact his cab has a red bumper, give me more reason to love Tiny Magnus. My only complaint, when pulling/splitting part of the white cab out in order to flip the head out, I wish they give us more clearance. Also, that part is scary too. One, I'm afraid I might over pull and tear the cab in half. The other since the clearance is at the minimum, I'm so afraid I might scratch Magnus antenna silver paint. Anyhow, here's my Tiny Magnus at the center of the attraction:

I agree! Only reason I haven't jumped on this guy is that I got the upgrade kit for my Master Made Titan instead, and also his proportions are a little too stocky for me. I'd love to see more pics of this guy though! Convince me to buy one!

I was going to wait a little longer on this guy but I saw bababobo selling him on eBay and with the $15 flash coupon making it $60 shipped I couldn't resist.

Mine finally arrived. It's pretty great overall, robust enough where nothing seems like it will break and fun to transform. My only criticism is that the head really should have been designed just a millimeter smaller so it could fold into the cab with less of a struggle.

Congrat Rewind on having Tiny Magnus today!
Totally agreed with that head clearance issue. My 2 concerns with that area, I'm afraid I might over pull and break the 2 gray tracks. The other one, I'm afraid I might scratch off the ear antenna silver paint if I'm not careful. Other than the head clearance issue, Tiny Magnus is one awesome toy. I love his feet and cab transformation which kind of reminding me of MP22 UM arm transformation, very intriguing and clever yet easy. Also, any UM that has the capability to open his chest and retrieve the Matrix, get 2 thumps up! Oh, red bumper too.

So from the looks of it, it uses a very similar transformation scheme to the CW/Legends/etc version?

P.S. I have their Grimlock and he's just adorable.
