So I watched that scene a few times, and I have started to think that Megatron is in fact smacking Prime in the face, and it is not Hound after all. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Optimus died in a fight against Megatron? Due to Hot Rod's intervention didn't he? If I am correct about these topics, Bay is teasing this will happen again. My Personal Thoughts: I wouldn't mind Optimus being gone to be honest.

Oh no. Definitely not. Even if it was Optimus instead of Hound (which I know it's Hound) they would not repeat history. You say you're okay with it, but you got to think is Hasbro and Peter Cullen okay with killing off Optimus. That answer would be no. That is because neither Peter Cullen nor Hasbro want to recreate the 1986 incident. You know the incident that resulted in theaters full of crying children and angry parents.
