I am liking this apocalyptic world aspect.

 

I like how Megatrons profile, in the live video, references Chicago, Mission City, and Egypt. It really does seem like this movie is going to tie everything together quite nicely.

 

They should have put this out before any of the trailers. This is epic.

This video makes me think of two things.

One, it's interesting they list Megatron being ... well, Megatron, yet we see Lennox approach him fairly casually in a trailer (relatively speaking).

Second, in the other thread, I was wondering why they were keeping Decepticons in custody if they're anti-Transformer reactionary force, and this makes me think the government will settle for simply deporting them.

Which, you know, given the way U.S does deportation, is a pretty good second-best for murderin'.

 

I have to wonder if the Decepticons aren't so much imprisoned as confined into certain place. Speciffically that little tiny ghost town in the trailer.
I have to wonder if TRF tried to negotiate with Megatron to get his help in stopping Optimus, and thus also Quintessa and Cybertron. Perhaps in echange for his troops, but Cade kills them anyway when Megatron tries to kill Squeeks.

EDIT: If my theory is somewhat true, then I have to wonder if what someone said about their being a Suicide Squad refferencw having some validity. TRF captures Cybertronians and keeps them alive, and then in they use them as a suicide squad in response to not being killed otherwise.

 

I seriously cannot wait for this movie, you know, the TRF commercial has a really creepy post-apocolyptic feel to it.

 

yeah, it feels really right. Age of extinction should've did this. and after trailer 2 came out I started to get this wierd post-apocolyptic vibe.
