That figure looks so sick...

 

Rarely do I see that done though. "Slightly different" is common. "Better" is rare.

 

Maybe they thought that the stingray would look better without legs! And I am ok with that...

Work has begun on making the Mentarazor feet parts. I'll give an update in a few days so you guys can give feedback on if you like the design.

Yeah...I always found the feet and arms on the originals a little odd, but that was part of their charm. It's just that Cyberjaw and Big Bite both have their feet and arms still. So it's weird that they left them off this guy.

Also, and this is just a technicality but he's a Manta ray I believe. Slight difference.

 

I had just emailed the retailer I bought it from. I was missing a piece from Mentarazor and they shipped me the piece no charge.

 

It was weird they were putting each figure out every month to every other month and now it's just halted.

 

I don't know how long you've been around the third party scene, but this tends to happen with the last member of almost every combiner, whether it be the torso figure or even a limb figure. The releases chug along, and then bam, 8 months before you see the last member. It has happened many times over the years with these combiners.

 

Unfortunately. Got to the point that when I could finally complete M3, I made a photo comic to that point: M3 at last!

 

Does anyone have any new shots of Thousandkills in his weapon/Targetmaster mode? I think that may be one of the only modes left to see. Not sure if leg mode has been shown in any of the promotional shots like arm mode has. Really looking forward to this figure.

Nope, the only limb mode photos are the box art ones. We haven't seen a physical prototype in any of the 3 extra modes.

 

The red on 1000kill is way too dark. It doesn't make him look compassionate and trusting at all.

 

Yeah those were the ones I was referring to, where he's partially visible on the back of some of the packages.

 

Early renderings for Mentarazor's feet. Any feedback/suggestions? 5mm ballpeg plugs into his hand ports which then connects to the foot.
