FedEx thankfully decided to stop torturing me by shipping Phoenix random places and delivered him to my office today. He is beautiful but a little big for a desk bot, probably need to bring him home today as much as I'd like to fiddle with him here.

Here's a quick pic with some other bots I happened to receive here recently from other shipments. Its funny when I opened Spaceracer the other day my first thought was "he's awfully big for a mini-bot". Well now its like "he's awfully small for a mini-bot".

Argh! I was so close to finally having him in my hands! A few minutes ago my doorbell rang but I'm working in my downstairs home office and didn't get to the door in time. There's a note from USPS that I can pick up my parcel tomorrow after 9am though.

 

That's the worst. Mine is coming ups today hoping I can beat it home... the wait is killing me.

 

Toyworld's MP-alikes all seem a touch big, but I guess a solution to that is to stick them next to Phoenix.

Yes, the wait definitely sucks. I know we've been waiting years for this guy but these last few hours, knowing his arrival is imminent, are the worst. I must've rearranged my display shelf 5 times today prepping his spot

I impulse bought a few of those little sample bottles a while back, thinking it'd be funny to take some pics of MPs drinking/passed out, but I never got around to doing so. Given the pics of Phoenix doing stuff, he seemed perfect for it.

 

I don't even know where mine is going to go... My G1S1 shelf is way crowded as it is...

Husband jokes we're going to have to get another house for my collection. Funny thing is, he hasn't even seen the insane collections some people have. Mine is tiny in comparison... Only like 42 bots on display.

Edit: since I just counted how many bots I have, I quickly did the math on what my collection costed me... I'm kinda shocked... I hope he doesn't think to do the math ever... *hides*

 

Never do the math. I started once and began feeling sick before I was halfway through.
