So "CONVERTING CYBERTRON PLANET" is basically G2 Primus. I seriously dig those insane colors, but I'll pass because of the price tag. I'll be content with my original TF: Cybertron version. Also couldn't Hasbro have come up with a better name than that? Was it a placeholder that someone forgot to update?

Dragonstorm looks amazing, but I'd like to see photos of the actual toys before I commit. The fact that the description indicates that both bots have individual dragon modes and a combined one has me super intrigued.

 

Dragonstorm looks to be everything I've ever wanted from a dragon transformer.


All he needs to be nearly perfect is to be green.

Also, hot rod looks way different between the 2 toys. maybe the second car is really rodimus?  And man I hate that orange face version. Neither even remotely says \"hotrod\" to me. 

 

The Primus repaint is weird, but it's a cool mold to put back into circulation.

 

So Dragonstorm's beast mode is supposed to be made up of two bots. Didn't expect that.

Nitro's bot mode design is quite unique for a jet TF, although it suffers from bot undercarriage as almost all TF jets do.

 

Whoooooo... Actionmaster Primus! I will own it.

 

So Dragonstorm is like Dreadwind+Darkwing=Dreadwing except without the individual alt modes.

 

Hot rod... Wow... Hasbro didnt just fumble or drop the ball, they literally let it hit them in the face... What a way to totally fuck up a figure i was really looking forward too.

 

Holy shit, Nitro has a 35 fucking step transformation?! That's incredible! That's like ROTF levels of complexity!

Dragonicus and Stormreign are two bots with individual dragon modes... that combine to form Dragonstorm?!??

I will still hold onto my hope for a Deluxe Hot Rod. I'm fairly certain there should be more that will be revealed. Quintessa, for one, remains to be seen.

 

Nitro looks like he has a very Hunt for the Decepticons Dirge feel transformation.

both of his robot modes look great!
the press release seems to imply that both Knights can become separate dragons and then also merge to make Dragonstorm's dragon mode. I really want this now.

Cybertron is (as many expected) a repaint of Cybertron Primus. it looks kinda neat. but personally I prefer the original cybertron version colours.

Nitro looks really nice now that I can actually see him in better detail. his vehicle mode is a little boring. but I still can't wait to get him.

it's nice to finally see HotRod getting some toys. looks like a mix of new moulds and remoulds. and hey, one even has flames.
hopefully there's still a Deluxe to come.

the random Prime repaints are a bit odd. (so Berserker has HOW many vehicle modes now?) but I'm glad there are more decepticons now. sort of.

TLK's toyline absolutely BLOWS AOE OUT OF THE WATER so many of these figures look so cool and so fun.

I hope that my country's department stores ain't jacking up the price of the Legion 2-packs just like how they did to the RID2015 Clash of the Transformers Legion 2-packs.

 

And just like that I've lost all interest in this guy.

Nitro, Infernocus, and Dragonstorm are instabuys. The only thing giving me pause about Cybertron is the price, but I'll probably cave....

wow. I guess Hasbro DOES keep molds around in some sort of secret storage lab!! I was thinking toy making technology had evolved to a point where the molds were more disposable... then again I guess that primus is from the early 00s?
