That's all well and good for the most part. It's more that I pre-ordered from them specifically because their product page had a comment that stated "this product will be in stock on Wednesday 5/31/2017!" They even used an exclamation point lol. So, while I am generally ok with the product arriving later in the summer, its disappointing that they would indicate such a specific release date only to remove it after the day has come and gone. I know that a lot of times stores will list an ETA of let's say Q1 2017, then update to Q2 2017 once Q1 comes and goes. My only gripe is that they had such a specific day listed for release, that to my mind, indicates it was actually going to release then (as opposed to stating a general release timeframe of April/May 2017) and that is the precise reason I chose them for my purchase.

First world problems they may be, but it's still annoying lol.

I never trust first or last day of month dates, since usually that indicates an assumed date in a system that is only set up to display month/day format on that page, such as Amazon uses.

So I think I see what Chimungmung does. I checked out about 10 other pre-orders on their site and each of them lists a month in which a product is estimated to release (for instance July 2017) and then also lists a specific statement such as "this item will be in stock on Monday 31 July, 2017". I guess they estimate a month and then state that it will be released by the last day of that estimate month.

Guys I checked Robot Kingdom's page. Other than that you should never trust the quoted release dates from retailers because they are like us. The manufacturer gives them a date which is a ballpark.

If you like a figure pre order it and wait. I know it is easier said than done, especially when money is involved and there are bills to pay, but I and, basically all of us, go through it on a monthly basis.

That is a fair point, but we all order from different retailers for various reasons. Some offer reward points, some get items quicker than other retailers, some have free shipping, etc. To assume we shouldn't trust what the retailer is putting on their website is a little odd. What if we bought from TFSource and spent over $150 and they didn't offer the free shipping? Would the argument be to just never trust their free shipping over $150 deal? Again, not wanting to make it a big deal, but when the sole reason you choose a certain retailer turns out to be either inaccurate or misleading, its a little disappointing. I totally understand the, "if you like a figure pre order it and wait" mentality, as I have many items on pre order at any given time. But if I choose a retailer because they emphatically (that's what the exclamation point indicates) state something and I make my decision based on that and it turns out that its a case of "hey, everyone does this so its ok", I think it's annoying.

Its more of a transparency issue than an impatience or money issue. And again, ballpark estimates are A-OK. But when a site lists a specific day with an exclamation point that's a bit different.

Powertrain is $180 at Captured Prey ($175 with the Loyalty Discount) vs $199.99 at most other US retailers. Surprised he's that much cheaper there.

Needless to say it's just bought at CP...

Well, you can do that! Simply keep Siegfried's legs straight at the joint in the center of his thighs.

Welp, it begins... I finally got the first bot. The other two coming in the next week probably.

He's cool. Doesn't feel as great as many other MP bots I have, but he's good enough. Not wowed, but not disappointed. Glad I only paid $65 or so.

I'm really in this for Revolt, Powertrain and the combined mode, but I'm happy to have the others to round out the team.

The best part is that he looks great with my other MP IDW bots :D

I keep meaning to ask this on this thread, but only just now got around to taking a pic. So, when I got my revolt, this baggie was in the box with him:

Anyone know what these are for?

I think eventually, we will have enough parts (and instructions) for that little clear optimus (check the front page pix)

They are part of a build your own legends sized clear optimus prime. They are including parts with Carnage, Revolt, Powertrain, and Overturn to be able to build the prime figure.

Ah, thanks for the heads up! Heh, I actually had to go back into the Carnage box (good thing I've been saving all the boxes!) to see there were parts in there. I guess I do remember wondering what that stuff was for when I got Carnage, but must've promptly forgotten they were in there since. It was just more memorable with Revolt because there were a whole lot more sprues.

Yeah i think so, which makes sense. I guess once Powertrain gets released we will probably get more info on the kit itself.
