when i had him i manly had issues with the weight of the combined form splitting the lower legs off the leg bots. and the combiner feet being made up of multiple pieces would also split a part.

surprised no other companies or TFC them selfs made one piece feet and something that fit around the leg bots to keep them together

I'm serverly tempted to pick up the Iron Army 2 packs. I loved the idea of PCC and those sets look wonderful

I'd have loved to get the arms for Hercules, since I'm still missing them, and Hades. The prices are great. But I don't really have the money and, worse, the exchange rate makes these about the same price they'd be at full price just a few years ago, so it's basically a waste of my time to buy any of these.

I caved on Hades. Had to cancel a few others, but that price is to good. From other owners what should I get to help with stability?

God, for $55 even Spinout looks good. There's a lot about him I kind of prefer to Sunsurge (who I already have) but I'm still super worried about all the QC issues.

Anyone here have Ironwill? I'm tempted to buy him to be a CHUG Ironhide unless he's too tall, but he looks pretty awesome - not for my Masterpiece display by any means, but I've always liked his aesthetics.

The Hades set is tempting. Would it be worth it?

For sure man. I don't know what they're smoking - but I like it.

Just added Double Down KFC to the mix. I already have him but I have somehow convinced myself I will mod him so he looks different somehow? For $50 - I really can't pass him up!

What is TFC's quality like? Is Ares G1 accurate or is he an homage?

I am tempted to nab Ares since it seems HasTak isn't going to cough up Predaking anytime soon.

I've heard the combiner itself is floppy, bit the individual robots have a pretty awesome and cohesive visual design. From what I've heard from asking around it's worth it to own one or more to display as bots.

Ares and Prometheus are the only two TFC combiners I don't have. Of the ones I do have, I'd say everything before Poseidon is below average. I can kind of forgive Herc, since he was kind of a product of his time, but Uranos and Hades have some serious stability issues, issues that I'm told Ares also had. And of the three options you have for Predaking, Ares is probably the least G1 accurate.

At those prices, though, I'm grabbing Ares, and I already have MMC's Predaking. After that, I might track down UT's Predaking and FP's Dinoking because I think they'll be the only 3P combiners I won't have.

Compared to Hasbro or Takara Stability issues, how does Ares fare next to CW/UW products.... better or worse??

everything I have heard leads me to believe he is far less stable than any CW/UW combiners.

I don't think it is possible for a combiner to be less stable than Menasor.

How big are the limb bots? Are they deluxe or voyager size? I'm thinking about Redcross and Rhadamanthus for other projects. Too bad F-4 Uranos Phantom wasn't on sale, I'd have dove on that.

Bit the bullet on Hades. I needed a G1 accurate Liokaiser and at that price it's too hard to pass up.

I hope Ares is available long enough for me to buy it when it actually comes in stock. Paypal is how I pay online, and the fact that I can't use that for preorders with BBTS is annoying.
