You're saying you'd rather have a continuity-ignoring mess over something actually intended to have serial installments from the beginning?
You don't know how and when the TRF formed. They could have developed out of the ruins of NEST or been around earlier lurking. They certainly don't look as underfunded as Cemetery Wind.
BTW, is Santos the first name, the last name or the nickname? It's rather silly to present a profile without a full info.
I do not remember him every saying this. It is not a Reboot, EVERY Movies a SEQUEL. A Reboot RESETS Everything to ZERO and IGNORES every single Event of previous Movies. If AoE is a Reboot, than you guys can surely tell me where Megatrons and Sentinels Head are coming from in the KSI Building right? I know Answers are now like.... "Megatrons Head popped out of nowhere, because AoE is a Reboot and has nothing to do with the Previous Movies" Just accept the truth, there is no REBOOT. And if you watch the Movies in the correct Order 1,2,3,4,5 EVERYTHING is explained. Still there are some Questions left sure, but every new Movie shows the old Events of the last Movie, just AoE shows a Flashback from TF3 Chicago Battle.
Maybe they mean a soft reboot, like how G.I. Joe: Retaliation was a soft reboot because of how bad Rise of Cobra was? They still happen but not how we saw them. Basically a retcon.
AoE was supposed to be a soft reboot, given how so few of the characters returned and all but two Autobots were killed off from DOTM off screen. It isn't good when every goddamn film at this point suddenly tries soft rebooting the franchise repeatedly.
Would't be the first time in TF history. Heck, even the G1 cartoon would contradict its self often in the same season.
The G1 cartoon should not be a standard. The writers even admitted they half-assed it and the only point of the show was to sell toys. It really says something when THAT is the standard people hold big budget films to - cartoons even the writers say is garbage.
No, you are saying that, because the only reason it happened in G1 is because they weren't trying to create a solid background universe. The movies supposedly are. No excuse.
I don't get it, either. But I have fond memories of Santiago from his day as Lancelot in BBC Merlin that I won't complain about the casting
Plot Twist, he's Santos Witwicky, the son of Sam Witwicky... because this timeline is messed up enough as it is already so why not add something like that to really destroy continuity xD
