Awesome! I been waiting to see more on this I'm stoked if they can actually pump out movies every year for the forseeable future, and not compromise the movies because they are so close together.

BUT if Bays working on them all, it's possible it'll work out.

So just to reiterate this takes place after movie 1, before ROTF? Amirite on that? I have no idea I haven't heard much on this movie at all

 

I'd argue they're already compromised by terrible scripts and incoherent editing (or incoherent scripts and terrible editing, take your pick), not sure making them faster is going to help any of that. BUT i'm very encouraged by the director chosen for this, i feel like there's the possibility for something special with him at the helm. hopefully we'll get something that captures more of the Spielbergian feel the first movie had that was lost in the sequels.

i thought we'd heard this would be an 80s based set-piece? (which adds to that feeling we could get something special if they use that setting right and not just as a chance for easter eggs and in-jokes.

 

I'm not sure where you heard that. Its been confirmed to take place in the 80s.

80s huh? Like he's might be the original 74' Camero Bumblebee? (that I actually just reviewed) That would be fantastic to see that model onscreen again or even getting an updated version to the 2007 deluxe. (Voyager scale & good build quality please )

As I stated I had no idea what was going on in the movies. Artiepants was kind enough to let me know about the 80s. I wss going off what I heard beginning of the year and haven't heard shit since

Unknown but quite possibly.

 

I'm interested to see what the toy line coming out of this is going to look like. Hopefully not just a bunch of BBs lol

 

If it is, I'd lose the "Universe" part and just call it Transformers: Bumblebee.

So pretty much the toy isle after the release of each movie toyline.
