    Hey watch it now...XD but we ain't complaining,it's been one and a half threads down in dinobot territory since they announced sunstreaker and no one said anything negative about sunstreaker.

    AND HEY mp-40 is a WAAYY cooler number than mp-39(someone pointed that out in the dinobot thread and i'mma stick with it ;) )

    I'm on the opposite spectrum. I feel no compulsion to "catch 'em all" when it comes to MPs (I'm a bigger S3 fan than S1, but that's an age thing), so this is actually the first MP I actually care about in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNG TIME! :lol 

    It doesn't hurt that it's another.... LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :D  :D  :D  :D 

    And though I already have a Chip, that extra is pretty nice. I'm more interested in the goofy mask! :lol  From the cartoon, right? Some obscure detail in 3 seconds of some episode? :confused: 

    But the extras make me dread some obnoxious price hike (Hasbro does this all the time with accessories). Hopefully still in the 6-7k yen range, and not some stupid number like MP Megs! :banghead:

    I don't expect Sunstreaker to be more than $100. For some reason, I expect him to be priced that high and not in the usual Autobot Cars price range of $70 to $80-something dollars.

    Love everything except for the butt flap. Come on Takara, don't you read the posts about butt flaps and masterpieces? They don't go together.

    LOVE that he has actual flip-out headlights. That's something I always kinda wished Sideswipe had.

    Also, on a different note (and I'm sure it's already been mentioned), but for those who want a more G1-accurate alt mode, I'd bet money that at the very least Reprolabels will be doing an upgrade set that turns the spoiler chrome. And presuming it is viable given the transformation and assembly, I wouldn't be surprised to see a full add-on kit from some 3P company that replaces the spoiler and taillights.

    According to the magazine that the one guy translated earlier, you will be able to change the taillights. Not sure if you just need to rotate them around or swap them out completely.

    There's room for him in my collection, for sure, but BadCube Sunsurge is going nowhere because he's technically more screen accurate than this one is. That said, I like supporting the official stuff and this looks like it's more of a toy than the extreme collectible that Sunsurge is. He's transformable, but really just for show for a lot of people. This looks like something you can actually pick up and play with. I'm down for that.
