Aye the super robot leans towards Nemesis, but the rest of the modes lean heavily on BC/Scourge. Plus it can still be used as add on/upgrade for the TFCC and United toys.

He does look nice. I haven't gotten this edition of bruticus yet. I'll have to keep my eye out if he ever goes on sale.

Ahh good call. I'll add it into the next update for sure. Last one was 2011, so next one should be 2023 or so. :)

The RTS G2 Deluxe mold is definitely the go-to version to pair with Ruination. The Grand Scourge figure is put as a fake Scourge from another reality in those pack-in comics.

That aside... Holy crap this set looks good. The new hands and feet are all Bruticus/Ruination needed, all right.

Why Dose bruticus have a Generation 2 Autobot Insignia Not a G2 Decepticon Insignia ?

Badigus isn't Bruticus. Baldigus is made up of corrupted time traveling Autobots, so Takara used the G2 Bot symbol, but inverted.

If Hasbro/Takara put out pictures of this quality, it'd be hard to turn down the majority of their offerings.  I have to kind of look away from your shots, to not be foolishly enchanted into buying something I've told myself is outside the budget! :lol

Major kudos! I'm sure it took some time, but keep up the great work! :thumb  :thumb  :thumb

I'd love to see a gallery of something I already owned... but then, I guess I'd be enticed into buying more copies??? :lolol

I need to talk to someone about Ruination.

I really do want to get this, but I'm extremely wary about where to get it from because...

    • Last Christmas, I got UW Bruticus off a seller from Amazon, but when I got him, he had massive quality control issues right out of the box. Loose knee on Onslaught, propeller blade on Vortex keeps falling off, the joint that connects Blast Off's head to the rest of the body, etc. So now that set's in its box in my garage collecting dust.
    • I don't know how much of the fault lies on the factory that made my copy or the seller who sold me the copy, but suffice to say, I'm kind of paranoid about this now.
    • Apparently, there were other cases of messed up UW Bruticuses that I should have up on, but yeah.
    • Does Ruination have any significant retools and how does it fare against UW Bruticus? Just as important, where should I get this from to avoid the nightmare I had last time? (Last I checked, BBTS had themselves Ruination, so...)

I don't have UW Bruticus to compare it to directly, but vs the Hasbro versions of the molds, it holds up fine. Sans maybe needed to add some future to the various ball joints, but that's nearly every CW deluxe mold needing that.

From my experience, i got Baldigus this year and when it got into my hands I was ready with my super glue and screwdrivers to fix what I had experienced with other combiners. To my surprise, all joints were firm and hard. Paint apps in great condition, and the problem with Vortex blades was absent in Heptar. All the blades hold well and Dangar (Armorhide) connects well too. One of my friends also bought his set thanks to my good feedback and he had the same experience as me. No problems at all.

I am wondering, I read on TFWiki that version of this had Heptar with two left arms. Is this true?

Nope. Not in my experience anyways. That only happens with occasional factory screw-ups, causing another poor soul to have one with two right arms.

Hahaha, yeah Takara wouldn't intentionally do that. The set is phenomenal and well-worth the heftier TT mall price tag. And like others have said, his QC overall is much better than other uses of these molds.

Yup the only consistent "qc" issue is the the hip lean that has been standard for every version of the Hotslaught mold, which steamshield has a shapeways fix for.

I can live with the lean, my Bruticus has it and it is from the arm configuration so i am not concerned about that

For those guys on the fence who are iffy about buying UW Baldigus... it's totally worth it. IMO. I've got two sets and both are made of sterner quality..

I am asking because on Tfwiki it says Heptar has two left arms, I know someone said something about it, but those over there aren't budging on saying that

Hmm, weird, my Heptar's are fine and have normal pair of arms... really TF Wiki's being taken seriously now? :lol
