Another mate also pulled a 4* soundwave within 10 crystals.
I've been playing Earth Wars since launch, and I didn't pull a single 4* from the premium crystals. All my 4* bots are from events.
RNG is RNG, nothing you can do about it.

Do you have to walk down every path in the Alliance Mission to get 100%? I missed a path in a section that was completely cleared of bots but it have a section nobody walked down (had that tear drop shaped path).

Did I just screw us?

 

Yes. Every path has to be covered whether there is a bot there or not. The percentage comes from the paths not the enemy.

 

Isn't it every node has to be visited or is that what you call path.

 

Yeah, that's what I meant. You have to go down every path to clear every node whether an enemy bot sits on it or not.

 

Well I think the node was walked over but after my teammate beat the bot I followed his path to the left instead of going right to node 53. However the teammate coming up the right side had already traveled over that node but like I said that little path between the two nodes was skipped.

 

Best way to tell is when you got 99% explored and mission is completed for every six members you missed 1 node

But as long as that node is connected with at least 1 partially explored line you're save

 

Okay we should be good then, we are not complete yet but we have one more joining this evening so he could clean it up but I'm curious now if we are good.

 

Just to follow up we did get 100% with me missing that little patch.

 

Has anyone been able to get the character they offer from ranking in arenas?

Also is it worth really buying crystals with energon? Few times I have I havent got anything great. I know doubles help but always feels like a waste.

 

Only allied to guys that can have that ranking. They are Lucky with bots and don´t sleep much.

The game gives enough shards so i think no better use them in case off during alliance missions

 

I was able to get a 2* Wasp from the arena challenge, and that's probably why Kabam got rid of the 2* challenge.

 

I got a 2* Optimus Prime from the very first arena. After that it's not really worth trying for me. The cutoff for a 4 star Soundwave in the last arena was over 4 million points. If you're interested you can go to the Forged to Fight subreddit and people put together google documents with the arena scores. This game seems to be just like my experience with Contest of Champions. The people that win the arena bots consistently are spending money to buy energon so they can recharge and play constantly. And they have a lot of bots to use.

 

That's the thing. You can't go straight to 4-stars. You need a ton of 3-stars first. And to win the 3-star arena, you need a ton of 2-stars. I win the 3-star arena consistently in Contest of Champions. Well, I did until I scaled back to concentrate on Forged to Fight. It was rare that a 3-star arena ended without me winning the character. You don't need to spend money on recharges. You just need an active alliance to help with recharge help requests.

But yeah, if you have a lot of 2-star characters and only 3-6 3-star characters, don't even bother with the 4-star arena. You need a lot more 3-stars first. Concentrate on that.

 

Yup new players have 0% chance of getting a bot in these rank arenas, however that doesn't mean you shouldn't play em they are full of rewards that help out a ton.

 

Yeah, in the Marvel game, I'd go full out for the 3-star character, and enough in the 4-star arena to at least qualify for ranked rewards and get a bunch of character crystal shards. But so far in this game, I don't have enough 3-stars to really even do that. It will come, but not yet.

 

I'm so going nowhere I'm thinking of uninstalling. All my 3* bots are maxed other than the alpha, and its impossible for me to get the alpha. I'm not progressing, I'm not getting better bots, I'm just in limbo. And its no fun at all.
