I am pro Rap and I agree with you. All types of music is Good wheather it's Rap, Pop, R&B, Rock or Metal. I appreciate every every type of music but the problem is though I hate it when people say some someone's music is Shit just because it's not their type of music. Let's stop talking about music and let's talk more transformers before an arguments happens   

 

I just don't like it. I get that Anthony hopkins is mocking Marky Mark with the "Duuude", It just doesn't fit Anthony Hopkins saying it. The 'Berg delivers his lines like the true one dimensional actor he is, as usual. It just feels tacky. It doesn't HAVE to be like that, and I guess I had built myself up for more now that Krueger is out of the picture. It's a personal thing I guess. Some people LOVE films that I think are overrated, so could just be me.

Hot Rod's french accent... just doesn't work for me. It on Par with how silly Q's accent was. It's not going to keep me from watching it, but so far I have a few things I don't like.. and the dialogue is one of them.

Me, on the other hand...I guess I was expecting the same typical type of dialogue all along so it doesn't bother me. After all, didn't the writers write this script to be fit for Michael Bay? At least I think that's what they said, months and months ago. So since then I didn't expect anything mindblowingly different lol

 

are you referring to the scene as presented at the MTV show? Or the full clip? Because many people have posted that the MTV version is severely edited and chopped down.

Oh absolutely! And you can't have a huge tonal shift or change in already established characters - You have to introduce new ones if you want to do that. These are Transformers Blockbusters.... they were never going to be classic cinema! I just don't like the dialogue. I want a film where the writers write for characters that just happen to be robots. Where it doesn't just feel like a loose plot with a meaningless stringing together of words. I don't want Battleships 5. Visually, Bay knows what he's doing. Even if you don't like the blockbuster style - he's VERY good at this genre - again, visually. However, I find myself being a complete hypocrite with these movies. I HATE (like, with a passion!) the Fast and Furious movies. The Transformers movies are really no different... they are just based on something I loved when I was little!
Before anyone says it... this has NOTHING to do with G1. I'm 100% fine with these movies being their own thing. In fact, I encourage it!! Every iteration or universe should be its own thing. I just want... more. Something that doesn't just make me impatient for the next action scene because the script and story are so lame. I'm on a crash course for disappointment, ever time.

 

Just everything I have seen so far. The relevancy here was to the MTV trailer due to the Hot Rod accent reveal. The traier has been cut by someone who either had an hour to put it together, or was awful at their job. Can't blame then for the unfinished CG.. that's not their department.
in that scene, they have Anthony Hopkins refer to Hot Rod as a Bitchin Ride (or something like that). The dialogue just doesn't fit 'him', as a person.
As I said... won't stop me from watching it.. but things like that stop a movie from being something I want to re-watch.

 

The real sad part is it's not just TFW2005; I'm seeing this all over the Internet!

 

Thanks. I don't think I noticed that before or if I did, I've forgotten. Well, I guess that shot of Barricade is something, although 'Cons chasing humans happens in every film.

 

I liked the clip. I just hope they add a scene with the tank robot transforming back to his tank form. I didn't like how he transforms with pieces falling off in one frame and in the next he's back into tank mode. Other than that, the tank bot looks cool as shit. Hope that isn't his only scene!!

 

Seeing that he talks and they made a big deal to reveal him as part of the TFs secret history propaganda vid, I'm going to guess he at least has some battle scenes in the movie and takes part in the final battle. Might die but I think he will take part at least.

 

In the Imax footage, the scene was nearly twice as long, apparently. The cut a lot out.

 

Yep, the cgi has definitely gotten worse. Hopefully it gets better in the final product.

 

I'm pretty sure the "pieces" falling off Hot Rod are just Vivian's luggage.
And Shockwave wasn't just standing around after taking out Optimus he was guarding the pillars. The troops couldn't do that without their big gun(lol). As the only High Ranking Decepticon left was Shockwave.As Sentinel doesn't count and Megatron had lost faith in himself as a leader. It would have been a bad idea for Shockwave to leave the Pillars and Sentinel unprotected.
And I argue Megatron was an intelligent commander and excellent fighter against the improving while fighting Movie Optimus Prime. In Age of Extinction for example Megatron's strategy to "surround them" leaving Hound and Bumblebee exhausted from his overwhelming number of drones almost worked had it not been for the unexpected interruption of the Dinobots. His reason for not participating was because his troops were not fully living beings at the time and needed someone to operate them explaining why he left the battlefield for a safer distance not because he's a "b*tch" like people say, but because it was the smart move.

 

The CGI Is bad especially when Bumblebee, Cade and Cogman were walking up to the castle and when Bee turns his head to see where the bullet landed. It looked Like a Wii game or something.

 

I have to say, I really enjoyed Sir Anthony in this clip. Even saying "dude", he is on point and looking like he is having a blast. Loved the delivery of the "perfect timing" line.

 

At least it seems more crystal clear than in AOE.

 

I just changed the channel and saw a TLK TV Spot airing. All I saw was Cybertron being dragged across Earth's moon. A shot from the 1940's battle with a transformer who I presumed was Hot Rod transform and then Anthony Hopkins talking about the secret history of Transformers. Wish I could have seen the full thing.
