Yea....I would LOVE to trash things with Bonecrusher. He might be a little bitch in the movie, but in the game, I'm sure he would own.

I want to like the game, but it's just too flawed for me. The pointing on the Wii just sucks, it's like Red Steel bad. One little swipe of the Wiimote locks you in a combo that you can't get out of. The game was too short, beat both campaigns in under a week with about 1.5 hrs a day. There's not much to free roam, I liked the Simpsons HaR free roam, buy cars, hit and run, quality side missions, not the same crap over in every level

for people stuck in hoover dam, when ur driving to get out of the explosions, u have to shoot while driving. that way, all the stuff falling down just disappears.

and i think the game is good. it's frustrating at times, but i realized that it was cuz i suck at games...not that the games suck. lol. once i got better at playing the game, it was fun.

the armada game was really fun. transformations are faster, u can transform mid-air, first person shooter mode, different minicons to make ur guns better, etc. that game was really hard; i used cheats, and i still couldnt beat it. i might have to play that again.

Yea, the Armada game was a lot of fun! I think the midair transformation should have been used for the movie game. That is a mark against the game, I must say.

The movie, I think, is a superior product, but the games Autobot campaign ending should have been the way the movie ended.

Funnily enough, I agree with the bolded part. Only thing is, I had fun watching the TF movie, but I didn't have any fun playing the game. In fact, I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I had so little fun playing a new game. It was probably back in the N64 days, maybe earlier.

The game mechanics was alright I guess, they just need to fix it a bit like the driving for example when your in vehicular mode. The only thing that made me wanna finish this game is because of the building structures you destroy. If only they added Bonecrusher as a playable character, then that would make my day happier. =D

I actually found the game (PC Target edition) much more enjoyable than the movie. All of the TF's actually had dialogue (except BB & Scorp) and had very little human content. I agree the end of the Autobot campaign should have been how the movie ended, course the opposite outcome with the Decepticons winning was just awesome. I guess that a TF has to press some specific buttons on the Allspark in order for it to merge or destroy a bot???

the game sucked, not much variety in combos, too short, missions could be better thought out and longer. the continuity between each mission leaves alot to be desired
it barely ties in with the movie.
cutscene animations are comical at best and move like stiff people.

other than that, graphics were great even for PS2, and transforming animations were very good.

    the movie rocked. nuff said

Oh, I will also say that for those who complained that the 'bots didn't get enough characterization and lines in the movie, the game can make up for that a bit.

You mean his police siren's? For the ps2, its O and he must be in his police car form. Which is also a pick up action when in robot mode.

I don't buy games much, it cost too much and I tend to get addicted. The game was fun, as expected (enjoys parking on roofs), but I didn't like the fact you couldn't jump and transform. That would be serious cool if they had.

I don't know why they don't just make Transformers video games with all sorts of campaigns and long adventures that take months to get through rather a day. They make all kinds of other Transformer products, they should make some decent vid games.

Question-Anyone seen the drunk dude(s)? Who is he?

The movie has it for me. Sure it's fun driving around but the game itself was just lacking in polish and the lack of tight controls while fighting and driving really make it frustrating instead of fun. If I had the movie at home and the game, I'd watch the movie instead. I'm glad I just rented it. Bargain bin that one for me.

The game is a perfect example of how basing a game off of a film can go sour on you. The Console game is a stripped down version of everything, The Movie is a skeleton of what the story could have been. It's the two DS games that SHINE and show us what we all really wanted from this film as fans by taking the humans out of the eqaution (Aside from the humans driving attack vehicles)
