Marc Forster. His resume is rather mixed - he did Finding Neverland (a fairytale) and The Kite Runner (a story about friendship), but he also did Monster's Ball (an Oscar-winning story about racism and self-destruction) and Quantum of Solace (an ok OO7 film).

This is going to be the greatest movie of all time; I know it.

What's next? A slapstick/comedy horror movie based on Jabberjaw?

 

the original idea for the film was going to revolve around an Adult Christopher Robin revisitng his old family home, where he finds his old toys and the the path back to the 100 acre woods, as well as his childhood, but because of neglect, he must travel with Pooh to bring back the wonder of childhood innocence.

Even if the movies sucks, the acting will be superb.

 

Lumiere must have been really popular for Disney to cast McGregor in another Disney film.

 

I approve.

McGregor adds yet another live-action Disney to his resume.

 

this is a much better casting than Lumiere though.

 

Also last time I checked, the plot was a grown up Christopher Robin returning to his childhood home and rediscovering the forgotten trail to the 100 acre woods.

 

So it's kinda like Big Fish, but just not a flashback.

 

reading up on it, the script has been rewritten due to problems with the last.

 

i am 99.9% against this, winnie the pooh was the foundation of the my childhood, my room as a child was like a shrine to him (stuffed animals toys, blanekst, wallpaper, sheets etc.) i even made an effort a few years back an bought the original book set. even as an adult, it holds a large special place in my heart and and i dont want it ruined by what ever this film is gonna be.

 

They're gonna fuck up the voice for pooh bear, gauranteed
