That was my thought as well, although it was PCs responsibility to understand that ahead of time.

They may have done due diligence for imports but neglected to consider the export logistics.

Here is to the hoping it's not a widespread issue. Maybe he was late to order and they couldnt get enough supply. I'm pretty sure many who shop from Premium Collectables and frequent this forum have ordered an MP Megatron or two. Please let us know if you get a shipping notice.

    Victoria is the worst.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting for my MP36 Megatron to be cancelled. It's been about a month since I made the request

    wut the flying....

that email should have come with a full refund and maybe a promo code. Did you get your money back right away? Even at this point I would be shocked if they made you work for that refund!

    Of course it won't.
PC are one of those companies that won't seem to hesitate in cancelling orders because you haven't paid up, but conveniently ignore all refund requests.

Here are some comments regarding refunds on their FB page.
As you can see, while there are only a few requests for refunds, the process takes a long time.

I demand a refund. No reply to emails and complete lack of customer service. Refund or I will be contacting the consumer ombudsman in 24hrs.

Maybe giving me my refund which you said would happen months ago?

It took me 3 months to get a refund last year

The only emails I've gotten are the generic "your request has been received and is being reviewed by our staff"

So no confirmation that my request for a cancellation has been accepted and happened. No money refunded. No store credit. Nothing.

Had I ordered and cancelled my order from HLJ, I could have cancelled the order within the day.

I'm in Western Australia, one of the more relaxed states on replica gun laws I believe (don't quote me on that).

Being in oz is really the only reason I decided to use PC for this. I've never had issues with other etailers. I'm generally all for paying a little extra for piece of mind, which is why I was hoping to get this and be done with PC.

Could be no road service from QLD to Perth. They did say it had to be sent by road, and maybe this is the issue.

I know Officeworks Mailman isn't sending much to perth atm due to floods and storm damage. Maybe that's got something to do with it.

I'm in WA and haven't received a cancellation email. I ordered within the first few minutes of the listing being live.

Do they ever do chargebacks onto credit cards?

Obviously, store credit plus bonus won't cut it as there is no telling that the next order will be filled and then it would stay in store credit hell until their business shuts down.

A class action could soon follow if no improvements are seen within the next month

Someone on my Facebook page asked me this recently because I have promoted Premium Collectables in the past and being Aussie, I shop with them quite a bit. Here is a copy and paste of my reply:

Yes, I deal with them a lot because they save me a lot of money when buying figures. Not ideal though if you are wanting to get figures quickly to review because they get their stock in after everyone else.

They provide the best prices you will find anywhere! I have never found a better price for a figure. But it's a trade off with the delivery time. Sometimes you can wait as long as 6 months for figures to arrive (after everyone else has received theirs from other retailers).

People will say their customer service is questionable - as a small company, they have been making the effort to improve this and I've been told they are still catching up on over 1000 emails from their January backlog.

Again, it's a trade off: best price = delayed shipping time. People just need to be patient. Premium Collectables say they import from various suppliers and ship by boat which reduces their costs, which in turn they pass on to their customers.

They also have free shipping on total orders over $100 in Australia and I think on orders over $300 or $350 to the US. One thing I learned recently, which has affected shipping time, is that if you have several pre orders on the same order amounting over $100 to get the free shipping, they will ship your order once all your items are in stock. Makes sense because they will be disadvantaging themselves providing free shipping on every single item.

My advice if you are going to do business with them is to separate pre orders as separate orders. This would mean paying shipping for each item but at least the wait time can be reduced.

At this point, they need to raise their prices a bit to 1) slow down how much they have ordered on backlog and 2) pay another 2 or 3 part timers to catch up on emails.

"At this point" meaning if they want to continue doing business in the near future. I will raise hell with some of you if I'm not going to get a response to my orders which total in the thousands of dollars. I'm getting legitimately upset over PC's approach to business.

@kkluttr, thanks for sharing. The issue some of us are having is we ordered tons of items and have many long past due. Then we also do not get answers to emails. I have emails from November and December 2016 that were never answered. They ask us to resubmit them over and over but the result is the same, no replies for most. They could just let everyone know when they expect certain items all together but it seems they choose not to which creates a lot of uncertainty with most customers.

They have promised a lot of things and never saw them through so it just doesn't sit well. I'd like to know when someone gets a shipping notice for MP Meg's.

For TFs, It seems to me that you pay now and they buy when the reissue or 2nd run comes out. Why is their Stomp promised at the same time as the reissue when many ordered prior to the first run?

It's obvious where the money went to. The owner is probably using it to buy houses in Sydney and borrowing from the banks for covering merchandise purchase for the store.

Once Aussie property prices goes poof, Premium Collectables will probably be toast.

Don't buy any high demand items from them.

Just buy the stuff that is seemingly easy to get and will never run out.

Pretty sure it's 13th April. There may be a reply to a comment buried somewhere deep in one of the comment chains but seems unlikely. They've posted a bunch of new product listing on their Twitter as recent as last night though.
I'd guess they're cutting off Facebook because of the growing toxicity of the comments there. Twitter is a lot easier for a company like this to manage as There's no comment function.
    I did find this:
    PRE ORDER WEEKLY UPDATE 24/4/17 | www.premiumcollectables.com.au
Pretty much a cut and paste of their last order update.
Seems clear they are cutting any opportunity for customers to publicly engage with them.
They're going to get a big shock if they do open an Amazon store as rumoured. Amazon customer reviews can be harsh!!!
