Chesapeake Greenbrier Target - 3 Broadsides, RID Blurr, Skywarp, masked Windblade Triggerhappy, Twinferno, 1 PM OPs, and 2 Soundwaves.

Norfolk TRU - Same old - 3 Blasters.

 

Fairfax Walmart had a RID Soundwave, a Blurr, and two face mask Windblades. No TR figures at all.

 

Walgreens in Springfield had a Topspin, a Quake, and a whole set of wave 3 TR deluxes.

 

TRU Kingstown had 2 Skyshadows, the Bumblebee, Kickback and Gnaw Legends, and a bunch of deluxes (multiple waves). Kingstown Walmart and Springfield Target were pretty bare.

 

Not going to claim this as the truth, but a guy I know that works in the electronic department at the Sterling Walmart said they're not going to get anymore TR figures until after they've put out the movie figures.

 

Fair Lakes TRU broke street date and had all the movie toys out. Tiny turbos are gone, legends are mostly gone, voyagers are mostly gone. Is anyone in NoVA interested in splitting the wave 1 tiny turbos blind bags case with me? There was 23 (out of a likely 24) in the box, hopefully it's two sets of 12 and no rare garbage. I really wonder if wave 2 is going to be 3 new ones and 9 repeats - if so, I'm getting off the train at Wave 1.

 

I was just there around 2pm and that whole section was empty of Transformers pretty much. Even their shelf warming Fort Max was gone along with the Blasters I saw last week.

They were up front, to the left of the giant power rangers display, hiding behind pool crap. I think Skylanders overflow used to be there.

 

Also, are there any new molds in Wave 1? It looks like every single figure is a repaint.. WTF. One step Hound maybe.

 

Boo. Maybe I WILL end up paying Walgreens prices for Percy and Topspin.

 

FYI: The tiny turbos are 2 sets of 12 per case. They are also extremely low quality.

 

Has anyone spotted a code number on the packaging to ID the contents? I doubt I'll be after these, but someone may be looking for that.

 

I looked. There's just a super tiny rectangle on the back. Annoyingly, it's covered by the instructions so it take some effort to peek. There are also 3 nearly identical white / grey cars which makes it worse.

 

Well, Lynchburg sucks. Checked everywhere in town this morning and no one has The Last Knight figures.

 

BTW BigBadToyStore finally put up TR Wave 4 for $20 each, ugh. Still probably cheaper than trying to collect them from Walgreens.

Lynchburg Toys R Us isn't putting TLK figures out until the 28th, since that is the street date in their computer system. But the workers there were very helpful and pulled figures from the back for myself and another collector. A manager had to punch in a code at the register to approve the sale.

I'm sure they'll do the same for anyone else who asks. They have at least one voyager Grimlock left and should still have at least one of every deluxe figure.

 

Manassas TRU is sticking HARD to the 28th as a street date. The manager has a redwood size stick up her arse. I did pick up a full set of deluxe TLK figures from the Walmart in the Manassas Mall; I left one full set behind. Walmart on Liberia in Manassas has the space cleared for them but not on the shelf yet. Target has set their street date to May 1st and they have a ton of them at the Manassas Store; they were stacked up on one of those red cart things with the stickers clearly seen. They are replanogramming the aisle on the 30th.

 

GoLion - I went to Fair Lakes TRU again around 1 - there was still a Voyager Prime in the regular TF section.

 

If anyone in the Richmond or Virginia Beach area spies a Barricade can they please let me know ASAP? He and Berserker are the only two I want from this wave and I found the other on Amazon Prime at (the stupidly expensive) MSRP
