The CGI is actually pretty good for just being a toy commercial.

    That was pretty neat.

    The CG was cool.

    Still better than AOE's CGI.

Not exactly. It's not like Age of Extinction where there's 25 lines of toys. I think this time around they did exceptionally well!

Im excited for these Knight Armor Turbo Changers! For one thing, Grimlock has the correct dino mode unlike any of his other toys, and Optimus they finally gave him an accurate look and flame painted chest. If the shoulders & elbows moved universally, which I doubt but maybe, then its awesome! Has loads of potential as is.

I'm gunning for AKTC Bee, Optimus, & Grim. Not sure about Megatron yet. Depending on accuracy of the helmet gimmick. It's probably a flip over deal like the rest though

Speaking of, ANYONE know if there is a Megatron toy with the horns that turn into the faceplate? Ala movie accurate?

Hmmm... I find it kinda interesting that Prime's 'Knight armor' is a red helmet....

Possible connection to the red splotch on his face?

So they put weird coloured hats on.

    Fascinating.

At least the CGI is nice.

Both the voyager and the leader have this gimmick.

Yeah these look fun, better than the flip and change figures. And the titans this time actually transform so they're not quite as 'shampoo bottle' as the AOE titans. Plus they don't have Kreo and Constructbots to take up space this time.

Edit: the robot headsculpt on that Grimlock is also perfect.

Has this been confirmed for the voyager?

I wonder how many "these are kiddy garbage, no collector will buy, that'll take up shelve space from better figures" comments will appear on this thread?

Well, these are kiddy garbage, no collector will buy*, that'll take up shelve space from better figures.

*I'm sure some collectors will buy them, there are those that have to have every piece of merch ever.

I seen these at TRU Wednesday, I don't really know what to think of them, the open packaging thing is weird, and the figures looked like Voyager Sized Bricks (Very G1).
Grimlock's feet are Mis-transformed in the box, as well as on the back art, and instructions

I didn't see a price and I didn't feel like tracking down an Employee to check the price. They also had Wave 1 of the 1 Step changers, and Wave 1 of the Legion.

I buy figures like these, not cause I want every piece of merch. I just like both generations style and gimmicky figures equally.

I hope this is a toy only gimmick.
