Well I suppose it was asking a bit much for Dicemus to make it in 24 hrs even if it would have been nice. Still not even updated tracking on Cosmobattles - it left Japan and went........Somewhere. I suppose next week i'll have to get into the nerve shred of "negotiating" with a Japanese retailer about what to do if it is fucked. It would have been so much easier if Kapow had gotten this sod in.

It's going to have to be a quiet weekend having gone for those IF Seekers.

This hobby has reduced my patience to that of a four year old.

 

For work I had the fun of building a custom docker image with a working Magento 2 setup with MySQL and our in house plugin to make it easier to test out changes. Not my favourite program and hopefully I won't have much to do with it now in the future

So I (finally) got a MP-36 from the lovely mcluskyism at Orbital and, because I'm like that I tested the silencer. Immediately it tool a slice of paint off, so I made a note of what was going on, took apart the silencer and started sanding... And then I touched up the paint that was scraped off, and did this...

Brave? I'd prefer to say... it was a considered risk...

 

Seriously. Apart from the guns, it's a pretty straight swap.

 

Just got back from taking the kids to Butlins @ sunny Bognor Regis for 5 days, hence next to zero contribution from me on here this week (I am sure you have all noticed and sorely missed my presence  ). Had a lovely time with family, it was almost a shame it had to end, almost.

Anyway, glad to be home and back to my collection...

Despite a distinct lack of transformer related activity or paraphernalia, I did come across a bar on site clearly named after a certain pacifist geologist!

 

I had the exact same problem with Warbotron's Onslaught. Came with two right arms. And I didn't actually check for a couple of weeks because I was on holiday. Apparently they're a pain in the arse to deal with and don't like assisting suppliers with issues like that. It has made me very wary about buying stuff online, just in case I get issues like that. (I usually use UK based companies, but I'll also use Chimungmung or BBTS for things I can't get here.)

 

So, no more scraping the barrel.....

@banjoted: sorry to hear about your problems with constructor. Fucking hell, with the amount of money you must have spent on that, you'd like to think they would get this shit right first time. I hope they, at the very least, make matters right for you.

@motorthing: sorry to hear that cosmo manoeuvres dia battles is still a no show for you...

In answer to the question of what are we looking forward to in 2017... I only have pre-orders for diaclone powered suit c & d type and the cosmo version of the same. Whereas I was dead certain about ordering FT Phenoix I am now wavering for some reason, despite loving what I have seen and Kapow opening up further pre-orders for him. Other than this, I have a g1 encore sky lynx on its way to me (finally, been looking to get one of these for a couple of years) and CW Devy put by for me until payday. Might get a TR trypticon later in the year and will pick up triggerhappy if misfire and slugslinger ever surface.

 

Ah, my epic haul today. Aside from picking up Megatron from Orbital, I also picked up TR Voyager Optimus from @scubaboy31 and Armada Wheeljack was delivered from @Dobbie! Well, three Transformers is pretty epic for me these days. Do I try and tackle Megatron now? Hmmmmm.

 

Well that explains why the UK Weather has been cold as fucking February this week, somebody made the mistake of chancing Bognor before August.

Megatron really does have little tiny hands compared to Prime.
