Read up on what happens when you give it an acetone vapour treatment :)

I've seen/heard what acetone vapour treatment can do, mainly due to Vangelus' phase of proselytising about some kinda homebrew 3P 3D-printed action figures whose Brand Name entirely escapes me right now but the finish of BHDA without it has honestly floored me!
As that set-up is a bit too complex/invested for me BHDA will do for now, if I ever get to feeling flush enough I would seriously invest in some BHDA 5mm weapons. There's some seriously sweet gear on that there Shapeways!

You don't need to go too complex really I tried it with the following -

    Bottle of acetone
    Clip lock food storage container
    Kitchen foil
    Kitchen paper towel

That's it. Plenty of YouTube videos and such it works well mostly and can provide very smooth results

A pretty standard effort from you there. By which I mean great words and amazing pics. You came really close to selling me on them but I think I'll get the Iron Factory ones when they come. I'm already very committed to that line so I think I'll stick with it regardless of how awesome you make these guys look.

Your reviews remain dangerous though, and you should probably have a wallet health warning stamped on you by law. :)

Yeah, resin printers can make crazy accurate models - the only trouble is the resin for them costs about 5x what more traditional plastics do.

Well, when you put it like that it seems a hell of a lot simpler than when the term "vapour bath" and suchlike are being bandied about! TO THE TUUUUBE OF YOU!!!

Forgive me if I once again turn ShakesBeerian...

"ALAS, POOR HUBRICK! I knew him, Gearratio!"

A few gradual coats more of nail polish methinks and/or possibly a dash of craft paint may be needed to clear up his fluffiness but definitely a worthwhile experiment.

Watching supervet with the wife. She has just said "apparently they are building something to do with something."
And she says I don't make any sense!
