Does anybody know if the Universal Studios Ride exclusive Kreon Evac comes in the updated 2015 revision version?

Speaking of which the 2015 revisions, it seems both waves three and four of the Micro Changers are still being released over in the US. I found a couple Wave 3 blind bags at a Wallgreens in New Hampshire, and apparently all of them use the 2015 build. Bad news is any piece that isn't the head, middle torso or legs loses its tampographs (Seawing's arms and helmet, alt-mode windows, etc.)
I managed to get a Long Haul from the... long haul, but considering the compatibility between Kre-O's different body styles, I had to get another one anyway to finish off Devastator.

Does anyone know if the new Dollar general release of the Microchangers go for cheaper than the $4 they used to go for?

The ones I bought at Walgreens were $3 apiece with no tax, so wherever you are you might be in luck.

Awesome, thank you. In that case I might have to check my local Dollar general and see what I can find.

Lemme know how it turns out! I oughtta post some comparison pictures of 2015 duplicates with the original builds. Pictures of the updated figures in general can be pretty hard to come by.

Well I'd love to but I keep getting an error saying I'm posting spam-like or inappropriate content whenever I upload photos to a post. Odd for it to have let me post photos earlier...?

Sorry for this one more post here; before anybody calls :spam  I just need one more to reach the minimum of ten needed to post pictures, as I happen to be very, very new here (and I have Awesomepow's consent, I swear-! :confused2 )

Makes sense to me. Maybe Michael Bay will go back and Special Edition Rotf, then rename Skids so that they can then rename Evac.

Alright, with that out of the way, on with the show!
Now, since we already talked about the technical differences between each of the Kreon designs, I'm just gonna take care of the aesthetic changes here.
    1) Much more saturated colors for the tampographs, giving a much more faithful shade of orange to Huffer's alt mode pieces and a more radiant visor for Long Haul. Also, lots of silver.
    3) Any Autobot/Decepticon symbols have their respective red/purple colors in addition to occasional white outlines
    4) Some heads (Groove and Powerglide are the only two I'm aware of) have metallic shades to their heads much like Huffer's arms. Between chrome tampographs, a dark silver head and grey arms, 2015!Powerglide looks odd to say the least.
    5) The light gray parts have undergone a bizarre change in shade, resembling the change in LEGO's grey bricks back in 2004

    6) In exchange for the amount of detail on each of the tampographs, 2015+ Kreons lose any of them that aren't attached to the legs, face, and middle torso, much to the loss of Seawing and any alt mode that uses windows. Snapshots I've seen from eBay dictate that even Nemesis Prime loses his silver faceplate.
    7) The swords used by Prime!Megatron no longer have the ridges meant to lock within the arm's wrist socket, which means they can be held in the hand as intended in the instructions.

And with that taken care of, I'd like to get back to the line of custom combiners and introduce you tooo...

    PIRANACON with Seawing and Skalor

Not unlike the original toy, this behemoth with his two additional Seacons had more accessories and extra parts than anyone knows what to do with. If not for the two pairs of guns providing heel support and the use of peg holes behind the shins a la Crazy Kre-O Fan from Facebook, this mother would be impossible to balance considering the size of his Scramble City-ish 2x2 foot plates.

I should probably mention that after these pictures were taken, I switched Snaptrap's twin canons around with the pair of Tentakil's tentacles(?) attached to the front of his respective leg. The tentacles popped off like crazy when wrestling with the heel-guns and Seawing's arms and Skalor's tail never attached to the twin canons properly due to the lack of quality control between 1x1 plates. That and my copy for some reason was missing the 1x2 jumper plate Snaptrap has under his twin canons, but rest assured you can tuck that under the Seawing...wing atop Piranacon's upper arm.

I was trying to keep the idea of each part of the body restricted to their respective Seacon, minus possibly Overbite's onslaught of additional parts for his shark mode. Nautilator on the other hand was particularly easy to keep most of himself as a Targetmaster. (And yes, Nautilator's the Targetmaster. I wanted to stay faithful to how the stickers and instructions dictated the Seacons' position, which seems to match the box art of the G1 gift set.)

Anyhoo I have no idea how to transition after blabbering about robots fish again, so I guess I might as well say I've got a little something in store now that I've got my hands on that final Constructicon...
