I only ever end up in other threads when you scoundrels trick me in to it, but I'm always quickly back out again. :D

    I can't help it, it's like a slow-motion car crash.

Unfortunately it also gave old Brucie a platform to publicly call me toxic, so it's been a mixed bag of morbidly fascinating vs pure poo-flinging.

anyone looking to sell TR Ravage & Laserbeak? - one of the few holes in my TR collection/Obsession...

general rule of thumb on other threads (and indeed in life in general) - expect everyone to be a twat - if they turn out to have some semblance of humanity, it's only a good thing...

I said my piece preaching unity and the fact that, deep down, we're all just one big happy family, maaaaaaaaan, and then I've avoided it. Looks like it's become an example of what it was trying to comment on. Which is pretty meta. Either way there's much more important arguments to have over the coming months...

With that in mind I apologise for getting political... Oh wow, Jawbreaker are reforming for Riot Fest. Excuse me while I find a punk forum to go bitch and moan on... Ahem.

If you replace toy manufacturer references with ethnic groups that guy would be a racist.

I love TR Megs, but the lack of a barrel tilt in tank mode stops it from being a 100% perfect set - but it's still a 99.99999% from me anyway! I'm definitely looking forward to the Blitzwing version!

Welp, the adage in question in this case is 'something ventured, something slightly gained'. Wakefield TRU turns out to have the almost identical state of stock as Bradford, once again nothing but Wave 1 legends, though they did at least have Wave 2 Titanmasters! With the Sharkticon hunt a bust I thought I may as well stick my head in the mahoosive B&Ms I spotted on the way in, lo & behold, they had two of each the Wave 6 CW fellas except for Trailbreaker. So now they've got one Wheeljack as I've nabbed one as insurance in case Shapeways shenanigans go awry!

I was gonna ask which thread you mean, but then thought better of it. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.

Be honest, Is it just me, that when you get a new TR figure, feels compelled to line up all the heads by their G1 year of release?

Probably. I posted in there twice. Not sure why now. I blame being at work. Though I wasn't a dick. I think?

The crux of it is we all like different things. Articulating how and respecting others when doing so is the minefield.

A Masterpiece Megatron thread will inevitably see opinion/comparison of the 3P figures bleed into it, but those elements and arguments shouldn't come to define the thread and I can see why people would get pissed when it happens.

Nor should - which is happening now in the Toxic thread - people repeatedly forcing an opinion on someone (whatever your personal feelings toward them) - whose line in the sand is quite clear.

    It's toys, for fucks sake.

-EDIT- Locked now, and with quite spot on reasoning.

I'm liking this thread. Kind of like overhearing a funny conversation in the pub then my wife making all 'you fucking geeks' eyes at me. Ah

How the fuck does a discussion thread on a toy end up needing to be locked. I mean, I claim to be an idiot man child but seriously? :lol

Yup, some quality moderating there. Huzzah!

And oooh man I've gone and overpaid for another eBay TF again. £25 for Generations Chromia. I'm justifying it to myself that this is probably as good a deal as can be got for her, and it has Argos Click and Collect as a delivery option. So that's jolly good at least.

Because from the OP onwards, despite some brave interventions and pleas for tolerence/sanity by fellow UKers it was always going to end up as the unpleasant shitheap it became by page 8. Page 9 onwards was just a solid bed of utter cunts having their day despite rule breaking and insults that weren't being cleaned up.

How the fuck is Quake Wave/3P Bootleg idiot still able to post? Read his expletive ridden "fuck off to the back of the bus you 3P Scum!" To one poster and wonder how some people seem to have license to be that shitty to fellow board members. And Bellend? Utter fucksock. Am I being unfair? No. By their words shall we know them.

But, as a thread it was great for expanding my ignore list past 50. Most of the pages shrank to one or two visible posts. Is that a sign of defeat/unecessarily censorious behaviour in a democracy? Yep. Is it still preferable to ending up in barneys with arsepipes? Damn tootin'.

Is the "Fandom toxic?" No, but some members are cunts, and I would restrict their internet access for the sake of Mankind if it was down to me. Thread parsed.

Still no Cosmo. Thanks a bunch Fate.
