Aaaaaaaaaaaand......?

 

That's the idea behind any progression-based game with level-capped units based on rarity. This is no different. 1*s were useless after a week. But they weren't always useless. Same with every other level of bot. As you get higher star and higher levels, you leave the others behind to grind points in events and burn through fuel. But they're not useless for I'm guessing 95%+ of the players in the game.

 

1 stars are good at the start, 2 stars seem godly, so the 60k prizes from the characters is nice and they work well intill you need a team over 3600, but while your getting there there are events and you get to build up your 3 star team which will be used to get shards to build your 4 star team, they dont want you tearing though this game and they have designed that if you want to skip past GO you need to pay X amount of dollars.

im at the point of building a 3 star team, then ill use that 3 star team to build my 4 star team, ive played games like rise of berk which uses the same time delay tactics, from scratch judging by how im going a full team of 4 stars should be possible with in 4 to 5 months of just randomly playing this game and doing the events, so to anyone thats new at this just stick to it, sure you look at the high scores and go that seems impossible but once you get your 4 star team that can pull in the points for you, well you will feel diffrently in time, the biggest thing to think about is your not making one team your making a few teams so you can drain your energy faster before bed lol

 

You need more than a team of 4/5*s to pull those top-5 numbers. You need a bankroll to buy fuel cells and skip cooldowns.

 

Not nessery next event check the points they pull in, i can nearly pull in 10k using a group of 2 stars 20k with a full powerd team seems more than possible you add in 40 members who put in that each its easy to see a 800,000 score from top teams

 

Finally got bumped from my top 80 (top 40?) decepticon alliance. Got a maxed base and always put up 10k on leaderboard but between not spending enough and getting bad draws when I did spend my team was deemed too weak (BP - 8500).

Was expecting this sooner or later. Bout time for me to ramp down my activity level anyways.

 

you could join open rebellion, we dont rank very high and is a very relaxed group but where slowly picking up speed, we have alot of newbees on the group

I only have 1 team with Optimus, the others don't have the ability to move their entire group enmasse like this.
They have to destroy the mortars and laser beams one by one before even looking at the HQ.
I'm sure I'll need an even more powerful offensive takedown once I start having to deal with missile launchers as well.
Fortunately, none if the bases I've tackled have had a missile launcher.

I'm hoping Superion can level that playing field, but he's still not available for me yet.
I need 2 more 3 star Aerialbots before he can get deployed.

 

Use tanks to divert fire. Certain bots (usually ones that can take a pounding) attract attention. Use that to the teams advantage. Pay attention to what each bot does to the turrets, the lasers, mortars. Use these attributes wisely and your xp will add up fast

 

Except they drop 2.5 million or more in the LB events in the top 5.

The best money spent in the game if you're so inclined, is on build bots.
The best thing to do is always have one free to strengthen your walls.

 

This isn't high drama, but I did chuckle a bit at the "Future Grimlock" joke.
