MP-10 was about a year after I believe MP-13 or at least that version of the toy was about 3-4 years at least in starscream colours.

MP megatron will not be released stateside or here because of gun laws. End of chit chat on that really I'm afraid. Also I seriously doubt it would survive a drop test due to the more recent reports

I was only joking around dude! :D  I know about the paint issues - I wasn't really asking for a picture! I would leave that silencer well alone if I were you! But I do wonder why they painted the barrel rather than just use a matching colour plastic...

If I had gold jazz, I wouldn't be home Sharpie-ing Transformers on a Friday night!

Well, today I opened my new Megatron. First impressions: Good weight, looks just how I wanted it to, great accessories. I spent some time just playing with the gun mode. It definitely looks awesome with the silencer, scope and stock all fitted. No damage to the toy when I removed them either.

Transformation was slightly more involved than I expected, but thankfully not an MP05 style pain. I will be transforming this guy more than once, for sure.

Bot mode is, well, you all know. The odd crotch could be better, but it is what it is. Other than that, it is most definitely Megatron. I just need to apply some stickers now to complete the look. I can't wait to get him alongside Prime after all these years!

Thank you, @Dobbie, for selling me your lovely G1 Encore Megatron!

    What? :lol

Goddammit. Just read 66 pages to find out what those red posts were for...
    Why isn't this on TFWiki???
" two flip-out pillars of unknown purpose "

    This is on TFWiki though...
"Several features included in the original control art were not included, such as a flip out claw and spring-loaded launchers in the feet. However, the feature of flipping down the knees to form seats for other figures to sit in was retained despite its exclusion from the instructions."
Anyone got a pic of this control art?

    EDIT:
Never mind, I found it. Emiliano Santalucia. Funny thing is, he though the designs I was for the Prime aesthetic. Probably would have cost loads more if Hasbro had implemented all of those features too. They do look pretty damn cool though. My word, if my firm start doing this everyone including myself would tell them to stick it up their arse :lol

Anyway, just realised some of the CW hand/foot/guns can attach to Titan master pegs!

So, got home and opened MP Megatron, only had a quick look, tested the joints, a quick pose or two and first impressions.....

He's pretty fucking good so far.

They're the original G1 Proton Bombs, IIRC they may have a single coat of nail polish to stop them being all loose goosey on the CHUG Hound Ravage I got them for originally but it might be worth trying a set without first as it may not be necessary due to only about 1mm of the peg slotting into the recess on ravage's forelegs.
They do stick out a bit from a dead-on viewing angle but I can't bring myself to cut 'em down!

Hey everyone! Had such a busy week but finally found time to check in. Work has been crazy at the mo, but it was a good end to the week as we had some nice news today... we've known for a while that we had a little one on the way but we finally found out that we're having a baby boy. :)

Very excited. Much Transformers-related knowledge to pass on. :lol

And as if that wasn't enough for one day, this guy showed up. My word.

I have to say MP Megatron is looking a lot better in everyone's photos here compared to the Takara promo pictures. I almost regret passing on him. But I just don't have room. I have one space left for a Decepticon MP and I'm saving it for Dirge. I just hope the QC is better on him than Thrust and Ramjet. Megs is very nice though! I'll be very interested to see how all your guys versions QC holds up over time.

Yeah I tried the rear legs with the mgs set but they are a bit too bulky for the screw holes. This may be a better option he needs the firepower. Could you show the front view anyhow Seeaich.
