It has been about a month since I saw either of those two. Grab a set when I saw them and glad I did now.
Well we don't live in Madison, do we? I don't remember stumbling into the "nearly canadian sightings thread"
Oh! I see, not surprised they're having trouble with a diecast titan master. And i forgot about nautica being in that set.
OK! Soooo sorta long-time lurker and collector here in Rio Rancho finally checking in. I have a question here for anyone that can answer. I have been trying to hunt down a few TF's from wave 4. I have been checking the targets around the city for the last week and I did find 2 broadsides at the Paseo Target. (as of Monday) What is driving me nuts is target listed Kup and Preceptor two weeks ago and showed its listing as, "only in store" then on monday they added Sky Shadow and today added topspin, Krok and Quake. Yet going in I found nothing. Do they hold on to stock and wait for the shelves to clear OR can you get the staff to find one? Again I did find a Broadside, yet curiously it was alongside a few Alphas and Galvys, so there was actually was a shortage of shelf space... And since I've been watching the Sky Shadow listing like a hawk, I noticed it "sell out" of the f'ing locations I already went to.
First off, welcome to the boards!!! The problem with target is that all the titan returns figures dpci numbers don't pertain to a certain figure so a dpci/upc code for a voyager, deluxe and so forth all query the whole line.
Welcome! Wave 4 Deluxes so far have only been found at Walgreens in the States. Keep your searches to there.
As someone who used to work for Target, all the Generations Deluxes share the same DPCI and have had the exact same number in the system for almost a decade at this point. The same goes with all the Voyagers and Leaders as well. So if you're looking for a specific figure, you'd be best off calling the store in advance to see what they have in stock.
Hey, thanks for the replies and the welcomes! The main figures I'm looking for were quake and Perceptor, and most importantly: Sky Shadow. I am curious though, do toys get released to retailers on a specific day like comics? Or do stores have it well ahead of time and have to wait for a release date? The 3p companies release schedule is all over the place, so I always assumed HasTak is as well.
It's far more random then a comic arrival. Those are always scheduled and toys don't do that, with some exception. Occasionally a toy will have a street date, like the Star Wars Force Awakens toys. Specific info on exactly when they could be released was strictly enforced.
Thanks lumpy, that was a fast response. Right now i'm crying over a major delay in a 3p seacon release, so I'm jonesing for some fresh plastic crack..I mean TF's Well then, it looks like the hunt will be on again when I got some more free time. Again for those that care- 2 Broadsides left at Paseo Target as of Tuesday afternoon.
