Yeah. Bobby seems to be quite the irritable guy, judging by the way he speaks during this review. At least he presented the figure in greater detail than Ben did. I feel that Ben rushed his review.

 

This really looks like it turned out to be a home run. Maybe it's time to increase my sales pile to lock in an order ...

 

Putting my two cents in:

While I don't care much for Bobby's skits or "personality", I heavily appreciate and respect that he goes ham on a figure. He doesn't disguise the flaws and he points out things that bother him. At the same time, he's reasonable about things that bother him but may not bother others. That's what I want in a review of expensive toys, especially expensive Transformers. EXACTLY what I want. So, I went through the review and I liked what I saw.

Which is good because I betrayed myself and bought Gorira a few days before he churned out that review.

OMG, this figuse is AMAZING!

And I told my wife that I would not buy more Transformers....hope she understands it is Optimus Primal.

Man, I'm really loving this figure!! Its interesting to see the differences between the final product and the resin prototype. For example, the cockpit on the chest is an entirely new piece, as the prototypes cockpit doesn't seem to open, and the bit that folds out for jet mode folds out from the bottom and is way longer on the prototype. Other differences include a lack of scopes on the shoulder cannons, slightly longer fingers on the prototype, and what seems to be a slightly different crotch plate.

Also, has anyone mentioned the missile spam in the legs? Cuz there's missile spam in the legs.

Got the figure. BEAUTIFUL and solid robot mode.

Transforming to Gorilla mode is when things get wonky. Somehow I was able to transform it despite the instructions missing literally a few steps.

 

Mine's on the way from BBTS and I'm really looking forward to it. I think Ben's review was a bit iffy, due to the way he mistransformed the ground assault mode.

 

I really hope PE makes a Primal Prime repaint

 

along with announcing Dragon Megatron  

 

Can anyone with him in hand tell me the dimensions of the packaging, please and thank you.

I remember seeing that on the Prototype,I also think Ben covered it in his review,maybe.

 

Wow, I leave for a bit and a bunch of stuff gets released!   Always good when that happens XD. This guy looks amazing. If I already wasn't getting Striker Noir, Calidus, and Tyrantron, this guy would be at the top of my list!!
