Iam glad that Decemberist from 3A is still around.

In my Opinion, it is ALWAYS a good sign, when a Company takes a look in the Forums, so Fans can ask Questions.

Even the Company Neca has registered in the Toyark.com Forum, and they reply to Questions from Fans.

My only complain is, that the Companies are a little bit shy with their Informations for upcoming Products.
Because, i think, the more Informations on Products their give us (Release Dates or Price) the better Fans and collectors
can plan their collections and their Finances.

    In my case, this is the Point;
Informations like Price, Release Date and which Figures will be produced in the End are
absolutely necessary for me, so that i now pretty early how to plan my Finances on these Figures.

I think many Collectors now what iam talking about,
because some Figures are sold out pretty damn fast.

I hope they anounce all the AOE figures soon. Last time around I think they had anounced who they would be doing before they revealed any of the actual figures. I'm dying to know who they settled on.

I really hope they do 60's BB.

Heh I've been on these boards and lurking a long time, but being involved with 3A and us getting the license was a good excuse to finally participate in discussions.

Licensees really can't announce anything without permission and PR plans from the licensor. We got in trouble for revealing the full line up for DOTM too soon.

Plus there's always the chance of announcing something early and something goes wrong, gets delayed, goes over budget, or gets canceled entirely.

We have a confirmed line up and work on several characters simultaneously following a general estimated release plan – things don't always go as planned, so there's only so much we can show or announce in advance.

ha ha, the inevitable crazy-making speculation ensues....:)
There are so many killer designs, I cannot wait to see what happens.
And yes (among many others) TLK Megatron would be awesome.
He's gotta be on the list.....I mean, right? lol (That's a rhetorical question, of course)
Decemberist-It's probably been asked before but can you give an idea when one or a couple confirmed ones might be announced?

It's a shame that the full lineup can't be revealed, as understandable as the process is for obtaining licenses is for 3A. It's a shame because fans/collectors would like as much information as possible for a toy line so we can plan and budget accordingly ourselves. These are some pretty pricey figures, after all. Thanks for keeping us informed just the same.

These are figures made by Allspark Studios. They have light up functions too, but take the same amount of time to produce as 4Ever Studio. (Think similar model)

As for 3A's production line, it is now obvious that that information cannot be revealed yet. However; from a collector's point of view, I understand completely.
I too would like to know how to finance my 3A collection rather than have "surprises".
I guess I'll plan on 1 figure every 2 months or so and hope for the best.

This question goes to decemberist directly.
With the success of the DOTM lineup, is there a possibility for 3A to offer more comprehensive products via Bambaland?
For example other (smaller/ cheaper to manufacture) characters? Maybe both Human and Transformer?
Or maybe even transformable display options like stands and accessories (like Prime's Axe)? With the last option, I gather that the licensing would be easier to obtain.
This would also fill the gap between main character releases, or be a more noteworthy exclusive item.

No, the film license is pretty specific to what we can and can't do. No plans for humans, accessory packs, or displays/stands. Weapons/accessories that transform are being looked into to be included with certain characters, but it all depends on costs. Soon as we can announce the line up we will.

The first of the TLK figures will be up for PO around the time of the film's release, can expect at least 3 figures this summer from TLK.

Since it's been discussed before, the only human character planned is a 6" Spike to be included with G1 Bumblebee.

It's very expensive and time consuming to make these, each figure takes roughly 9months for development, plus 4-7months for tooling/manufacturing. Keep in mind we're a small company, about a dozen people working on somewhere between 60 and 80 projects at a given time for licensed and original toy lines. Smaller does not mean cheaper to develop or manufacture, a 1/12th figure can cost as much to develop as a 1/6th, and even then you have to sell 10x as many to break even. Same can be said with any new or additional accessory – that mould will still cost as much as car.

I also want to ask Decemberist something again.

As you already said, new Optimus Prime (The one with Sword and Shield i mean) will include Face Plates that can be switched.

I want to ask, is it possible that you maybe can add his Wrist Blades?

For me, to be true, the Sword and Shield + Multiple Face Plates is far enough.

But if you could find a way to add his Wrist Blades (The ones you have added to Optimus DOTM + Evasion Mode)
    it would be really awesome!

Because i remembered he still uses them in Age of Extinction in the first half of the Movie against Galvatron.

And also he uses a NEW Wrist Blade in TF 5 from the Trailer, where he tries to stab Bumblebee.

Only wanted to ask that! Even if the Answer is "No", iam glad i asked this Question.

Because you have already added so many Weapons to your last DOTM Figures, it would be really Awesome if
our Beloved Optimus comes with his Full Weapon Arsenal :D

    Thanks for clarifying.
Special accessories would be a nice touch.

It sounds like there's lots to look forward to this summer. TLK being a priority l guess.

I had no idea 3A only had that amount of employees. I thought for sure there were 200 guys somewhere in a building cranking out products. Kudos for that!
Hopefully TF figures generate enough revenue for you to expand. (and maybe get the manufacturing time down a bit...hint...hint)

Either way, we appreciate your responses.
Love the figures! Wish l could do more to help.

You know they'll do Knight Optimus. I think that's an absolute given, how could they not? Megatron seems very likely as well. Beyond that, who knows?

Hot Rod would be insane. Still not a fan of the head, but the Lamborghini body would look sick in this size/paint spec.

They are finally online for Pre Order! Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Squeeks

I have just pre Ordered 2x Optimus Prime from Bambaland Store.

I hope Megatron will also follow a few Months later!

As is said before, really hope they will use strong durable Hip Joints for Optimus Prime, because
i own the Optimus Prime ComiCave Version also, and the Hip Joints broke because ComiCave used stupid Ball Joints
and the Joints itself could not hold the entire Leg Weight, the Leg itself was also hard to Move on the Ball Joint,
so the Joint itself could not withstand the Force and Broke.

I hope 3A will not make the same Mistake, and will do a Quality Check before sending out the Figures.

But from what i have heard, many People are really happy with the Quality and the Ratcheting Joints of Transformers 3 Optimus Prime.
