    Those previous recipients from DOTM and AOE haven\'t risen in to anything? Im not even convinced that shes a good actress, based on what we\'ve seen in The Last Knight trailers, so far. I find it curious that in the announcement they make mention of \"Paramount to release...\" My opinion is this is basically just paid advertising to promote the movie, not news...
    Wahlberg called, said he wants his movie back!?!?

    Congrats to her and wishing her all the best!
    I expect she'll get some decent roles after this too.

    Closer to how well Shia and Megan Fox did after TF1 with how they got several blockbuster roles and headlined as "starring in" features.

    Isabel's character seems to have that better onscreen presence like they did as opposed to the previous two movies that felt like those characters were background forgettable comedy characters.

    I can't agree that her acting will be "terrible and unrealistic", since I've not seen her perform in anything else. Like I said, she looked like she was doing fine in the trailer. And, as I shall be discussing briefly on SmorgasPod.com this week, the odd numbered TF films have been the better ones thus far..

    Minus DOTM, story was ok at best but that still won't save it from the fact that they added and wasted a bunch of new/popular characters for no reason.

    Why would I congratulate someone's performance in a movie I've never seen? how do I know she's not just total trash, average or amazing?
    its a pointless compliment if you don't actually know what you're complimenting.

    Ok. Since it's a movie you've never seen, how can you be so sure of any agendas that may or may not be there? Or are you just prone to knee jerk reactions due to a cognitive bias that's clouding what otherwise might be reasonable judgement? Why not wait until after you've seen the movie before you make such critiques? Afterall, you said it yourself. You've never seen the movie. So how can you (or rather, why should you) congratulate someone's performance, much less be so sure that there is some social political agenda?

    She wasn't given this award for her acting in a trailer. When she was selected the people behind this award had almost certainly not even seen this trailer yet. She was given this award for landing a big role in a blockbuster movie.

    Just like Nicola Peltz was given the same award in 2014 for the same reasons... except it somehow wasn't 'feminism run amok!' then.

    Also, irony: one of the things that probably pisses you off about feminists is that you believe they're always bringing it up in threads that have nothing to do with it, and making all sorts of fuss and causing huge arguments all because they've got an agenda against something, and feel like "they" are behind everything, no matter how unrelated and innocuous.
