Just saying, down the line, Hasbro and Takara are probably gonna try and milk as much as they possibly can out of this mold, which means we might be getting a lot of new add on accessories and stuff included with future releases, if what they've done with rotf prime is anything to go by
Do you think that all 3 of them will be released together? I know that it will be far more financially sound for them to stagger the releases, but I don't think I can handle the wait... (>.<)
When is MPM Optimus even supposed to be revealed? Personally, I'd like it to be soon, so I can decide whether or not to cancel the Movie The Best leader Optimus preorder I have
Well, that's probably what they're waiting for. They want to sell alllllllllllllllll the "The Best" Leader Optimus Primes they can before they reveal a better figure. That's only natural.
Isn't that the masterpiece way? If my memory serves, didn't they do that very same thing with other MPs, like the seekers and the 1st MP prime?

I'd love to see a masterpiece movie Long Haul from ROTF or Sideswipe, but the former is probably pushing it.
Long Haul is already good as sideswipe in his sidearm version. They just need now to be masterpiece, thing that should be possible.
I highly doubt they'd ever do a Movie Masterpiece for such an irrelevant character like Long Haul. He's cool and all, but he was just cannon fodder in ROTF; he didn't really do anything... Sideswipe is a different story though, he'd be a reasonable choice. Do we know when Takara plans to reveal Movie Masterpiece Optimus? I placed my bets on it being better than the ROTF mold and canceled my Move The Best Optimus preorder. Hope I made the right decision lol
If the render is indeed from the actual figure, you made a sabious decision. Maybe they reveal him between the 5 days of reveal (19th-24th april).
I did the same thing. I think we made the right decision, since he comes out in Japan like tomorrow or something, haha. I'll always love that mold; it was one of the best ever made. But that was a decade ago. Now I'm more excited to see what they managed to do with the MP. His proportions already look better, and his paint should be excellent considering he's an MP. Matrix chamber and switchable faceplate would be awesome. But mainly I just hope they nail his look (and that they're already working on Sideswipe and Sentinel, haha).
I know Takara will initially have voyager prime as a tru exclusive in Japan but I get the feeling they will paint it in movie accurate colors eventually. I hope they make a new leader prime even if it's exclusive to Japan like Armor Knight was for TF4. The designers at least said they wanted another go at leader prime. Plus I like the possessed look of Optimus in the Tf5 trailers.
The Takara designers said it after the AOE toys had been out for a while. It was in a magazine interview IIRC.
