Guess Cuba will be a short scene before the second act thrusts into the UK, if I had to speculate.

Maybe the Decepticons can get a hold of the Knightship and use it as their base like the Nemesis from Transformers Prime. I'd love to see that!

 

Agreed fully! That could also explain how Barricade is able to get to Britain and why the other Decepticon vehicles were barely seen in Britain (although Onslaught and Hooligan were also seen in Michigan filming that is meant to represent the British countryside); after the America scenes they mainly travel by Knight Ship. Meanwhile the Autobots do not have the Knight Ship, and that's why their vehicle modes are seen more in British filming with the exception of Barricade being seen a lot. Then again, being a police car and getting in on chases is kind of Barricade's thing.

 

If I recall, there's supposed to be a montage of how Transformers have integrated into Eath's culture and Cuba was part of that montage.

 

For whatever reason, I never realized that Cybertron could easily come back from getting halved in DOTM, since it's made of Transformium. Somebody with the keys could just take it, reshape/program it and drive away. (Then it transforms, tells the thief how it's illegal to steal, and how knowing is half the battle, etc.)

I think I just joined the "It's Cybertron" camp.

Yeah, I think you're right. I was looking at stills, but it was a lot easier to notice in the actual trailer.
