I think that's just for the poster. Might be a bit confusing having "Protect" on his knuckle for a Decepticon to a broader audience.

I believe they're supposed to be a sort of knuckle duster, or brass knuckles. He has one on each hand. In most renders (and the toy) they say "Protect and Serve," but in reverse, so that the words are left imprinted on his target. My guess is that they switched this one to "Punish" for the casual viewers' sake.

 

That's the thing. Cogman does have certain air to Sir Hopkins. ^^'

 

I'm glad they switched it. I couldn't take Barricade serious with the "serve" and "protect" knuckles.
But yeah, these posters all look amazing!

 

This is making me think that sometime in the near future, movie theaters will have Harry Potter-esque motion posters on the walls. Maybe not for every movie, but it would be cool for the big budget blockbusters' IMAX posters.

while i realize the Bay movieverse has absolutely no correlation with anything else in the TF mythology outside of Prime's general look and Bumblebee being yellow, i still find myself disappointed in that Hot Rod. so lame and generic. thought they might at least work in the tri-blasters.

 

so barricade has different knuckle dusters then?
