The head mold colours of Megatron are disgusting, damnnnn.

I won't judge Megatron's fashion style.

 

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed about that, though I know its unlikely. All the dino moulds look so poor next to the new Scorn. They could've at least remoulded them with updated heads or something.

Yeah I don't get it. Grimlock's having the bit of green I guess makes sense because he was kinda mossy-rusty in AOE, but Megatron's helmet being all yellow and purple makes no sense. Shouldn't it be mostly grey with small amounts of yellow/gold? (also, it's not even accurate to his battle mask)

 

I think the whole purpose is to make it stand out to kids.

If a mask the same, dull color flips up. "wow."
If this super cool brightly colored mask flips up "MOM I NEED NEW PANTS"

You get my point. It "pops".

 

All I can see when I look at Megatron's mask is a beige Cringer.
A beige Cringer with big floppy ears.

 

Even more hilariously, the Grimlock dino mode manages to kind of not be as bad as the horrible AOE Voyager or Leader.

Yeah, it's not meant to be accurate, it's meant to be a play feature. Hound's is bright orange. I think this is why they're touting the Premier Editions as Movie-accurate, even though some of those could do with more accurate paint jobs.
