I promise I haven't given up.

I'm only finding one or two figures on the peg. Usually 1 wave 4 figure followed by nothing but wave 1 and 2.

 

I saw on Seibertron.com someone listed finding a Topspin at Target in Oregon. I wonder if they are starting to show up there.

 

Seems Wave 3 is the only thing out in stores. Patomac Mills and Fredericksburg both have a set along with some Soundwaves

 

Saw soundwave at Newport News toys r us yesterday

 

Greenbrier Walgreens has 2 Wolfwire, 1 Hardhead and 1 Twinferno.

Greenbrier target has 2 each Soundwave, Hot Rod and Overboard. 1 each Triggerhappy and Twinferno.

 

Did Target have any Marvel Legends X-men Warlock wave?

 

For those in NOVA we're doing a meetup Sunday possibly at Razerwires place or thereabouts.

I'll have Phoenix and Ditka samples there. Go post there so we can get a headcount.

No but the Walgreens had Old Man Logan.

Saw 2 each Twinferno and Hot Rod at pembroke target. Also 1 each Prowl and Mirage from combiner wars.

 

I snagged the lone Breakaway at Staples Mill Target. The rest of the case was still there as of noon.

 

Picked up the lone Quake at Walgreens at 7 Corners.

 

Short Pump Target has all of the Wave 3 Deluxes if anyone is still looking for them.

 

1 kup left at the Walgreens in manassas across from the hospital. Had 2, I took one for myself

 

Picked up three kups and a percepter. So, now they have none. I will be bringing the 2 spare kups to the meetup tomorrow.

 

Weird. I didn't see those other kups or perceptor there when I was there this morning.

Do we have a card bender/bubble crusher in the NOVA area?

This was quite a problem when I lived up in NYC happening frequently in Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. One or more people would destroy the packaging with either the hopes that someone wouldn't buy it and then they could come back to the store another day when they had more money, or hope to get the item on discount.

The only reason that I'm asking is because I found a Kup figure at the Walgreens over near where 28 and 29 intersect and the card was totally wrecked. Now for the most part I'm an opener, but I left it there because I didn't want to go through any hassle if I ever needed to return it.

 

Oddly the 2 I saw this morning both were bent. I took the one that was in better condition, but it didn't really matter for me, since I open them anyways

 

The people that pack the bins that get shipped to Walgreens' stores from the distribution facility do not give a rat's ass how they pack them. They are directed to get everything in the least amount of bins as possible; if that means crushing and warping the packaging to do so then so be it. The ones I got this morning were in fairly good shape.

@Bryanwes - they were there but unless you were looking carefully you would not have noticed them. Someone was being sneaky.

 

I was at either the Sterling or Reston Target one day in the early Soundwave days and they had two and the plastic on the box was destroyed but the rest of the packaging was fine. I mentioned it to some friends and that was the first time I heard of this act of intentional package damaging.

That was the only obvious time I'd seen that before.
