New England Transformer Collectors Group Meet and Greet. Comicazi @ 407 Highland Ave in Somerville Mass. 02144 has been nice enough to donate us a space to hold this meeting. The scheduled date is Sunday January 29th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Please consider this a formal invitation. If you would like to attend please PM me to RSVP. Hasbro and Takara it would seem had totally forgotten this fact and released hardly and Beast wars or Beast mode bots last year or did they? Rescue Bots, R.I.D. , Titans Returns and Masterpiece all had different forms of beast bots released or did you fail to notice this trend too! Keep an eye out for our other great events this year the dates are as listed here 2017 meet ups. 2 gnaw, 1 kickback, 3 bumblebees at Nashua Amherst st target

 

Oddly enough when I was there today they had 2 bumblebees and 1 gnaw. The Gnaw came home with me.

 

The walmart in North Conway, has plenty of Alpha trion, astrotrain, and bb/gnaw/Kickback. They also finally stocked Titan Masters(wave 3).

 

North Conway walmart has two TR Soundwaves, if anyone is looking for one.

 

Bedford Target had one each of TR Voyager Megatron and Optimus Prime as of yesterday.

Personally I'm waiting for the Octane/Blitzwing repaints.

The well has been pretty dry from Salem to Derry. I did find a set of the Legendary Voltron Lions at the Derry Walmart. First time I've seen them in the wild since I snagged my set at Target.

 

Are those lions worth getting?

 

I personally think yes. The quality isn't perfect, but they are really cool.

The Topics for the next meeting will be (1) just like Burger King have it your way! Transformer Collectors like to change the factory looks of their robots from tint to time. Stickers, Gundam and paint markers as well as 3rd party add on kits to full on Custom jobs help keep the scene fresh. How or what method do you use to keep your bots looking fresh and updated. (2) The Titans return line is still alive and kicking. What do you want to see next? (3) The Convention season will be coming up soon who going where and why? Plaistow Walmart had all wave 3 deluxes and Legends and I picked up the sole Voyager Prime

 

Has the Velocitron set shown up in NH yet? It was sighted at the Woburn TRU near where my wife works but it just isnt a need rather a want and would rather not pay taxes on it in NH.

 

There were 2 on the shelf after I left the Nashua TRU Yesterday. If anyone is interested in just Natica and/or Quickswitch, I plan on selling both shortly.

Pretty sure I saw the Velocitron set at the Salem TRU the other day.

Gamestop at the Christmas Tree plaza in Salem has TF5 turbo changers. I saw Optimus, Bumblebee, and Hound, didn't notice Barricade but he was on the back on the Hound packaging.
