Looking forward to reading this Sixo!

I had low expectations for Loudpedal, but his deco is truly sensational and he instantly became one of my favourite MPs once I got him in hand.

Just curious if anyone heard of this guy getting KO'd? I'm thinking that I have either received a KO, or there are some very sloppy versions of this figure floating around. Despite my better judgment and general dislike of this mold, I couldn't resist looking around for a black version for the shelf. I decided to take a chance and order from a Chinese eBay vendor that popped up in my recommended list. I hadn't heard of any KOs on the market and the price was right, so I decided to take a chance.

Generally, the figure feels solid/genuine. Joints are pretty good overall, though one side of the hood flops loosely on its hinge. The black seems to be clean and even throughout and most of the paint apps are crisp. What's making me suspicious is that there are several paint/finish issues and the gun can't peg into either hand. I confirmed that it's an issue with the gun, since MP-26's version will peg into MP-25L's hand, but not vice versa. The box seems legit, print and graphics are chromed and crisp, but that doesn't necessarily mean this is a genuine TT product. Maybe I was sent a QC reject? Including some pics of the questionable spots below. What do you think? KO or very poor QC?

Little circle=scratches, big circle=no red paint on wing (opposite wing has the red stripes and it is clean)

    More scratches on opposite arm
    [IMG]

Sloppy paint apps - opposite leg is better

This one is a little harder to see, but there are some scratches/paint discolorations on this shin

I'd love to get a Loud Pedal, but only if he gets Reprolabels to turn him into an Autobot. I was hoping of having a dynamic duo between him and Road Rage.

No interest in the Tracks variant whatsoever.

My money's on it's a QC reject, or cobbled together from individual parts QC rejected parts, and then smuggled out of the factory with box. There is a Tracks KO, but it's supposed to have rubber tyres, so a Loudpedal KO from the same company I imagine would have the same, if it is even out yet.

So I Transformed Loud Pedal today and to my dismay BOTH leg panels snapped off when I went to rotate them

It's as if the pin was stuck and as I rotated the panel the plastic just sheered off. There was very little force involved. Has anyone else had this problem with Loud Pedal or his mould mates? Hopefully this is just a one off and not a widespread problem.

It's not going to be easy to fix this either because even if I glue it, it still needs to be able to rotate :(

Mine is definitely not a KO as I got it from Kapow.

    Ouch...sorry man.

I have two Tracks and neither of them have had this issue - transformed back and forth multiple times.

    That's a shame right there.

sorry to be this bloke but for them both to snap off you must of been doing something wrong , maybe trying to lift and rotate?

I understand why you might say that but.....nope. I also have Tracks and Road Rage and have transformed them over and over again with no issues whatsoever. I hadn't transformed LP since he was first released. When the first leg panel snapped I set about seeing how to dismantle the leg to repair it. I reached the conclusion that it would be very difficult to do due to the way that piece is assembled. The leg panel has a tubular piece that goes through the hinge which is then pinned on the side that you can't see. Once I was resigned to being unable to fix it only then did I attempt to move the other leg panel. It literally fell off with no force at all - I barely moved it. I would say that there was a weakness in the plastic or that the tubular piece of the panel had fused to the hinge itself. Either way this wasn't the one of this mould that I wanted to break. Tracks and Road Rage are practically on clearance. LP is a different story unfortunately. I'm also worried that if a shell out for another LP that it'll have the same issue. Has anyone transformed their LP recently?

I half transformed mine but the legs on mine are so tight I feel like I'm going to break it so put him back into the box

I don't blame you Jon Trooper. Sometimes you get that sixth sense that tells you to leave well alone. If you've handled a '82 straight arm GI Joe in recent times you'll know exactly what I mean.

I had another look at the broken pieces on my LP and I can confirm that the silvery plastic, tubular pieces are actually fused to the black nylon plastic hinges. I can't even rotate them with needle nosed pliers!

When I got LP I messed about with him for a couple of days but since then he's been stood on a shelf in the same pose. I compared the pieces to my road rage and tracks (who transform just fine) and it seems like the hinge pieces on my LP are slightly smaller almost like they've shrunk.

I'm be really keen to know if anyone else has transformed their LP figure recently.

It's such a shame because I love the decor of this figure :(

It would be good to get a consensus of whether others Loud Pedals have suffered this fate, for sure. Were you storing him anywhere different from Road Rage or Tracks? A different shelf, closer to heat source or light source or anything like that?

No such damage to any of Tracks, Road Rage or Loud Pedal that I own, and they get transformed very regularly for pics and fun. So sorry to see this happen to yours :(

    All the best
