I think it just varies from where you live, for me it cost more than say AE or HLJ

 

My experiences have been pleasant. I've picked up multiple Tamashii exclusives from them - they DO take a few days to get newly in-stock orders out the door and their shipping costs are a bit more expensive than others, but all my stuff has been packaged well and arrived with no issues whatsoever.

That said, I've never had any need to return anything to them, so I have no idea how they are compared to, say, HLJ (quite amiable, as I've heard), RK, (also willing, but a company that can take a while to respond to you) or AmiAmi (won't deal with returns from non-Japanese customers at all, I believe).

any of yours came double taped from factory? I just got mines and its double taped on one side. Looks like it been open and then re-taped.

Well the problem is resolved although the original question is not. But I don't dare to point that out to them lol. The question and answer that was going on back and fro was awkward at best.

 

I got a case direct from wholesale and all of them were double taped. For reference, a case has 6 toys.

Is the head on the TT version painted as badly as the KO? There is some seriously thick red paint on mine. It hinders the skull cap from closing and softens a lot of the molded detail. I'm actually curious why there is paint at all as it seems the painted pieces were molded in red anyhow?

 

The head is painted on Takara's and some pretty thick paint. I have no issues closing the skull cap on mine though.

 

Same as PC.
I will double-check next time i reassemble the MP shelf.
