He was too powerful to fire his blue one. In fact, he tried to but it didn't work.

    Kong: Skull Island- 7/10

For the most part it's enjoyable. The fights are great, Kong is cool, I liked C. Reily but there really isn't much outside that. It just doesn't aim very high when it comes to the characters and the writing. Oh, and the comedy outside of Reily was trash.

Better than 2014's Zilla but that's not sayin' much.

that was not the scene he was referring to. that scene happened much later in the film. there was a
big gigantic spider, and jackson shot it in the head.
did you leave to use the restroom during that scene?

    spider.

No, I know what scene you are talking about. I thought it was a spider too, but Marlowe said it was an ant.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates - 5/10

Showed a lot of promise and some good laughs in the first half, but the second half essentially feels like it was playing catch-up to wrap up the storyline(s).

I saw eight legs on that thing man :puke:

A real score of Pacific Rim/10 feels fair to me.

Godzilla is the kind of guy who stumbles into his home and sleeps right there in the doorway. Kong is the king we need.

Kong: Skull Island 8/10. For the most part, a fun, solid monster romp. Stay for the end credit scene.

Get Out - If you want a psychological horror thriller that is in league with the likes of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Stepford Wives, while also have a perfect balance of comedy that symoblizes the topic of racism, this is the movie for you. The acting is top notch for being a horror film while also keeping its charm through intelligently scripted conversations and dialog that keeps you on the edge of your seat. In addition, it doesn't rely on cheap jump scares and gore to make you squirm, it plays with your mind. The year was already off to a great start with Split, and Get Out is now added to that. Let's hope this means 2017 will be another year for horror films. With that said, I give Get Out a 9/10 because the only negative is a plot twist that you could see a mile away.

LOL the fuck!? i even found an image of the stupid spider.

it's a clearly a spider. This is way before Marlowe was even in the film. they never even showed the damn ants.

it's a spider. he either left during that scene, or didn't see the movie at all. it's a spider.

The Nice Guys--7/10. I usually do not care for comedies, but this movie was okay.

Clearly I saw the movie and no, I did not leave during that scene because I refuse to pee if I am watching the movie for the first time.

I'm just going by what Marlow told them.

    Anyway,

The Rope - I watched this film two years ago and it was great then, but even better now. Such an interesting movie with a great concept and that most of the movie was shot with only a couple of transitions is utterly incredible. Not to mention James Stewart gives such a ravishing performance. My original score was an 8, but I'm upping it to a 9/10.

you are talking about a scene that happened in a much later scene of the film. he is talking about a scene pretty early on. about right after they crash, if i recall correctly.
