Neat change, wish they would have done that with Skullcruncher. I'm fine with the original head Chromedome came with.

 

Ditto for Malaysia as well. It seems to currently be a random anomaly occuring in certain parts of the US.  

 

Yea, I've not seen the head at all. I checked a few other boards to see if there were any sighting of it anywhere in my area. NOPE.

So the coloring of the plastic is different? Huh. Guess that means a partswap with my normal Hasbro Chromedome head so it'll match, and give the other to my daughter since she won't care.

 

Look people if you really are finding these things post pictures. If your lying then your not making yourself cool, your making other people go on a goose chase.

If it helps anyone, here is the stamp from the back of the package on a Takara head Chromedome.

 

We really are, I found 3 in Nc at Walmart. I didn't take pictures last time but next time I see them I will if it will ease anybody's mind about the legitimacy.

Seems like you aren't the only person to find it in NC.

I guess I'd feel better about this if the guy I know that lives in my area showed me a picture that he found one.

 

I have seen a post where one was found at a Walgreens Pharmacy.

 

Well this thread is dying down...with so little new product on US shelves, it seems worthwhile to give this a bump so folks have something to hunt for!

I'm still waiting for Hardhead with the Takara head to show up!

Nobody knows!
They do seem to be out there...and with only one known (possible) exception, they've all been found at Walmarts.
So get on your ill fitting t-shirt, sweatpants and slippers and get hunting.

If you see one (and only one), will you pass it along to someone else who is asking?

I'm keeping my eyes out for another copy which I'd be happy to pass along to another collector at cost.
So far, I've only seen the one...which I'm thrilled to have in my own collection.

Don't rag on someone not volunteering to buy and ship product to someone else. It takes time and money to buy and mail something and there's several people on the forums here that will drive to 3 stores a day, 7 days a week looking for a toy but won't spend the money on shipping. Who's to guarantee you can get someone to pay you for the item, packing materials, and shipping? Let alone your free time and gas money.

If someone volunteers, that's great. But don't bother someone without promising them a profit for it.
