Video Look HERE I've wanted to do this color scheme for years and finally have gotten around to it. I've looked over G2 art and also referenced past customs of this figure to kind of get where I'm at with him now. I've incorporated a small amount of battle scarring and such because I think of Grimlock as a scrapper and a warrior so scarring IMO goes without saying. Grim is fully transformable and those pics are forthcoming. His hands are fully articulated and are removable to make transformation very easy without having to do any internal forearm mods. I have also drilled the tiny holes in the hands (just like the factory ones had) to enable Grimmy to hold his weapons in any pose via peg-attachment.
Super clean. I've been tempted to try this out, but I've never been good at painting on transformers.
Transformers fans are so talented, and it would seem very under represented and appreciated on this forum. That is an amazing paint job! It looks so clean and professional. I've never imagined Grimlock in this color scheme and it looks amazing! If there was a popular TF online game this would be an alternate skin pack!
This is fantastic! I want to do this to my mp09 since I have the fanstoys version. Do you mind telling me what color thato is you used answer what brand? Thank you
Thanks for the comments! The color I used for the blue was a mix of 3 different colors (Insignia blue, Royal French blue and a touch of Violet). If you watch the video review, you can see a hue of violet in different lighting.
Your figures look amazing, but your Youtube videos could use a little work. Each video should be 3-5 min long. Discuss the figure and its creation process. Tell a story, share your passion, and your channel will grow. Thanks for sharing your talent! Good luck!
