Cute! Not 100% sure I'll get these, though. I'm leery of going too far down the 3P Legends-scale road. I picked up Tom and Jerry just because Weirdwolf and Chromedome are personal favorites (glad they came packed together) but I'm not sure if I liked them enough objectively-speaking to commit to the entire line. They feel a little unpolished, which from what I've read is sort of typical of DX9's Legends stuff.

Iron Factory figures look a bit more refined, but I dislike the sci-fi alt modes and the pile of teensy accessories. It's a pet peeve, but I don't like when TF's come with a ton of weapons. I never end up using them (not a fan of the "overgunned" look) and then just have to keep track of them.

I'm almost tempted by that Hardhead but that altmode doesn't work for me. I wish the cockpit/cannon were further back on the vehicle. Ideally the forearms would be more hidden but it *is* legends scale.

Though if they do a version with a non-faceplate head and a really sharp color scheme...

Hope they get to Brainstorm next. Or will they follow with Titans Return way and do Highbrow and Mindwipe, and then leave Brainstorm as an exclusive somewhere? :p

I don\'t like Skullsmasher's hands even for a Legends scale they feel weird to me but still a good figure.

I liked Toyworld's attempt. Yeah, his chest is wrong unless partsform but I don't care, It's a great toy to play with.

but I agree with most comments here, I'm just not feeling these. Hardheads vehicle mode isn't pretty and the bot mode for both reminds of Minecraft. Normally that'd be OK (I love MC) but that's not what I'm looking for in my transforming robot toys.

Anyone know the inspiration of the names this go around? I'm wracking my brain and can't figure it out. I still love these guys, though they're not as awesome looking as Tom and Jerry. Still in and can't wait for the next round. Really hoping we see brainstorm and mindwipe next and soon! :thumb

Seems to be some really obscure Chinese thing... Chinese 1980s First pinned item "Schunck and Betta, Children always sang, "Schunck, Schunck, Schunck, Schunck fly a helicopter. Betta, Betta, Betta, Betta drive a tank."

Some info Schunck and Betta Adventures,Schunck and Betta Adventures,Encyclopedia_Shared Encyclopedia_et97.com

DVDs? Buy Children's cartoon animation art Shanghai genuine CD disc Schunck Betta complete 6DVD, $16.90/piece | JOJbuy.com

So I'm guessing they wanted to call Hardhead, the tank, Betta and then just gave Schunck to Skullcruncher. Seems they should have done a 2pack of Highbrow and Hardhead and called those Schunck and Betta, then release a 2pack of skullcruncher and mindwipe with other names.

I'd really like to see Brainstorm. He's become a favorite after appearing in IDW. Mindwipe is probably a given.

Well these came in stock at TFSource today. I've got IF Sixshot and these waiting in my stack... I just need something a little pricier like Hero Hobby City Captain to drop and I can get mah free shipping.

Yeah, I received my notice too. Hoping War in Pocket Swoop drops soon so I can ship this guys.

I have not seen any reviews yet though. Also surprised UT hasn't announced their next set.

Yeah, I hope they're not stopping after these two. I really want all seven of the original HM's in this style.

Decided to go ahead and get Schunck and Betta (they're sitting in my POL right now). I just enjoy Tom and Jerry more and more the longer they sit on my desk, so I'm happy to get these guys to join them.

Got these two today and they are every bit as awesome as the first set. There is some truly genius design going into these to make them look so good yet also transform with just a few simple steps.

Got these guys today to go with the first set they released. I definitely feel like they are improving as they go. Chromedome's chest didn't peg in whereas Hardhead's does (essentially same hood folding down to form chest transformation). Also, Hardhead's hands have some gapage for fingers which makes inserting the weapon a lot easier. Inserting the weapons into Chromedome's solid-fists-with-peg-holes the first few times is a little scary.
